In Acerbi’s office at the hospital, Acerbi is filling out paperwork at her desk when there is a knock on the door. Acerbi sighs. “Just once I would like to go two seconds without some sort of interruption!” Acerbi complains. Acerbi walks over to the door, opens it, and finds Lawrence standing in the hallway. “Good evening, Olivia! I hope this isn’t a bad time.” Lawrence says. “What can I do for you, Lawrence?” Acerbi asks. “I was in the neighborhood so I thought I’d come pay you a little visit and find out how your day has been.” Lawrence says. “My day isn’t quite over yet, I’ve been overwhelmed with paperwork.” Acerbi admits. “Lucky for you, I think I have something that may take the edge off.” Lawrence suggests. “Wine?” Acerbi asks. “Better!” Lawrence exclaims. Lawrence pulls a box of chocolates out from behind his back. “For you, my dear.” Lawrence says. “Chocolates?” Acerbi asks. “Not just any chocolates! In your hand, you are holding some of the finest chocolates in the world that I had imported from Belgium just for you!” Lawrence reveals. “Belgium, you say? Well with such a wonderful gift, how could I not invite you in? Please, come in.” Acerbi urges. Lawrence smiles and walks past Acerbi. “Tell me, how has your day been going?” Acerbi wonders. “My day has been wonderful! My son was just appointed CEO of Stanpatos Enterprises once again.” Lawrence reveals. “How long will it last this time? If my math is right, this is Dylan’s third stint as CEO in the last two years.” Acerbi notes. “Its my hope that Dylan will remain CEO for the rest of his life, or at least until he is ready to retire and decides to hand over the reins of the company to one of his children.” Lawrence says. “How can you be so sure one of Dylan’s children will want to take over the company?” Acerbi questions. “I think between Sabrina and Dylan’s unborn child with Daisy, at least one of them will want to follow in their father’s footsteps.” Lawrence says. Acerbi smiles. “Its such a wonderful feeling when your child takes after you. I may not have discovered my daughter Adelina until she was an adult, but I was thrilled to know she was a doctor just like her mother.” Acerbi says. “Have you spoken to Adelina at all recently?” Lawrence wonders. Acerbi’s face grows serious. “I’ve hardly spoken to Adelina at all since she left Fantastic City five years ago.” Acerbi admits. “I assume that means you have no idea where she is then?” Lawrence asks. “I don’t. Why do you ask?” Acerbi wonders.

In the park, Kristina is sitting on a bench sobbing when someone holds out a handkerchief to her. “You look like you could probably use this.” The person says. Kristina looks up and sees Dylan standing there. Kristina takes the handkerchief. “Thanks.” Kristina says. “You know, I was really debating whether or not I should approach you.” Dylan admits. “Why? Were you afraid I’d bite your head off?” Kristina wonders. Dylan shrugs. “ Kristina cries. Dylan sits on the bench next to Kristina. “What are you doing here? How come you aren’t at home?” Dylan asks. “I don’t have a home. I came here just to get the crying out of my system before I checked into the Fantastic Inn.” Kristina admits. “Don’t tell me Brady kicked you out.” Dylan says. Kristina shakes her head. “No, it was my choice. I...I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t stay under the same roof as the man who caused my miscarriage all because he didn’t have faith in me, I had to get out of there for my own sanity!” Kristina tells him. “How did Brady take it?” Dylan questions. “He begged me to stay. He suggested we go to couple’s therapy, basically whatever it would take to save our relationship.” Kristina says. “What was your response?” Dylan asks. “There’s no coming back from this. Whatever I had with Brady...its been ruined. I can’t even believe I’m saying that, what Brady and I had was the kinda love you only find once in a lifetime.” Kristina admits. “Even though we didn’t really travel in the same circles, I always thought what you and Brady had was something special. The lengths he went to to get you back when you thought you were The Evil Force were actually quite admirable. I’m really sorry things didn’t turn out differently for you.” Dylan says. “Not as sorry as I am. The worst part of all this is, as angry and upset as I am with him, deep down I can tell that I still love him. It makes me wonder, did I make the right choice? Should I have tried to give him another chance?” Kristina wonders. “I don’t know. How do you see that playing out for yourself?” Dylan asks. “If I gave Brady another chance, I’m not sure I’d ever be able to forget what happened to our baby. I know Brady didn’t mean for any of this to happen, but at the same time, he knew that I was pregnant! But he still went and shouted all these accusations at me that he knew would cause me a lot of stress! And yes, I know there’s a video of me handing that recording over to Julia’s campaign manager, but I also know for a fact that I had nothing to do with that, and after I told Brady that I hoped he would have enough faith in me to believe me...but he didn’t. That’s what caused ALL of this, the fact that he didn’t trust me!” Kristina says. “I’m sorry, you really got the short end of the stick.” Dylan notes. “I really hate pitying myself, but the more I think about it, the more I realize my life has been an on and off dumpster fire for years! From my psycho ex trying to kill me and causing me to have a mental breakdown, Brady nearly dying from an illness, and then losing years of my life because of Joe Fish killing me and then The Master resurrecting me and forcing me to play the role of his dead daddy. And now...I have to deal with all this! When is it going to stop?! How could life possibly suck anymore than it already does?!” Kristina wonders. Kitty Cat walks up to the park bench. “Well if it isn’t two of my favorite people in one place. Hello you two, its been a long time.” Kitty Cat tells them!

In the Goo Parlor, Daisy sits next to a drunk Brady on the couch. “I’m guessing something happened between you and Kristina.” Daisy assumes. “What was your first clue, genius?” Brady asks. “You know what? Maybe I’ll take my listening ear elsewhere. Maybe you’ll feel more inclined to open up to your father! I’m sure Victor would love to find you like this.” Daisy says. “Are you gonna keep threatening to tell on me every time I make a slip up?” Brady wonders. “A slip up is usually a one time thing, what happened the last time was the beginning of a huge problem.” Daisy notes. “I swear, when I told you I wasn’t gonna drink anymore I meant it. Honest to God, I was never gonna touch the stuff again.” Brady tells her. “What changed your mind?” Daisy asks. “Kristina came home from the hospital today.” Brady reveals. “That’s good, isn’t it?” Daisy asks. “Yeah, I’m thrilled she’s outta the hospital! What I’m not so thrilled about is that she won’t be living here.” Brady reveals. “Well Kristina went through a pretty huge trauma, she probably just needs some time to herself.” Daisy suggests. “Time isn’t gonna fix a damn thing!” Brady argues. “How do you know that?” Daisy wonders. “Because that’s what Kristina told me! Not only did she leave me, she made it pretty clear there isn’t any hope for us! Our relationship is over, and its all my fault.” Brady says.

Victor and Virginia are sitting together at The Ancient Jewel. “Surely Stefan doesn’t actually think he would have a prayer of winning custody of that baby. He’s a monster!” Victor points out. “Correction, Victor. Stefan ain’t just any ordinary monster, he’s a monster with a whole lot of money! I know better than anybody that money talks, Stefan could bribe a judge into giving him full custody! And if he’s feeling too lazy to do that, he might just decide to skip over the legal proceedings and kidnap Issac! It definitely doesn’t help that he has the support of that Kitty Cat woman.” Virginia says. “Clearly you’re a bit behind the times, Kitty Cat has been dead for years!” Victor says. “Not anymore she isn’t! That girl is alive and well, Lucas Cambino saw her!” Virginia reveals. “Lucas Cambino isn’t exactly a reliable source of information.” Victor argues. Virginia’s phone begins to ring. “Hold on, I’ve gotta take this.” Virginia says. Virginia answers the phone. “What is it?...Huh?! No, that can’t be!...Alright, I’ll get it taken care of.” Virginia says, before hanging up. “Is everything okay?” Victor wonders. “No, everything is NOT okay! That was Issac’s body guard, Kaylie was just dragged down to the station for questioning!” Virginia reveals. “Do you have any idea what happened?!” Victor asks. “No, but I’m sure as hell gonna find out! I’m heading down to the police station, you mind coming with me?” Virginia asks. “Why?” Victor wonders. “Because Kaylie needs a lawyer, and it just so happens one is sitting right across from me! I know you’re furious with me right now, but my daughter is innocent in all this! Besides, helping Kaylie might win you some points with Julia.” Virginia says. Victor sighs. “Alright, lets go.” Victor says. Victor and Virginia stand up and rush out.

At the police station, Kaylie is sitting in the interrogation room when Bethany bursts in. “Please tell me you haven’t said anything without a lawyer!” Bethany says. “I haven’t called a lawyer yet because I haven’t done anything wrong!” Kaylie tells her. “It doesn’t matter! You should NEVER talk to the cops without a lawyer, guilty or not guilty! I’ve been arrested enough times to know that.” Bethany says. “I’m probably not going to be able to get a hold of a lawyer this late anyways. How’s Issac?” Kaylie wonders. “I stayed with him until the sitter and the bodyguard showed up.” Bethany says. “Does anyone else know about this?” Kaylie questions. “Not yet, but considering the babysitter and the bodyguard are on your Mom’s payroll I’m guessing she’ll probably find out soon.” Bethany says. Kaylie holds her head. “I can’t believe this is happening…” Kaylie mutters. “Neither can I. You can tell Rebecca isn’t running things anymore, because this idiot police force has reached an all new low!” Bethany states. “I work for this “idiot police force”.” Kaylie reminds Bethany. “Well then you better find a new job, because you’re too good for these morons! Why the hell would they think you would steal the evidence against Daisy? You don’t even know Daisy, do you?!” Bethany asks. “Not really. I literally just met her for the first time when I went to talk to Andy about Rebecca’s disappearance today.” Kaylie says. “Do you have any idea why the cops think you stole the evidence?” Bethany asks. “They haven’t told me anything. Cooper just told me to wait here while he went and took care of something and he said he’d be back soon.” Kaylie says. “Are you under arrest?” Bethany asks. “No, not yet.” Kaylie says. “You won’t be either. You didn’t do anything wrong, and we are gonna prove it!” Bethany says. “I hope so, but I doubt I’d be here if the police didn’t have something of substance linking me to the evidence theft. I can’t believe this is happening! Never mind the fact that I could lose my job and end up in prison, I could lose Issac! The second Stefan finds out about this, he is gonna jump at the chance to take full custody!” Kaylie says. “That’s not going to happen because you are innocent!” Bethany assures her. “I really want to believe that, but as much as I hate to say it...innocent people go to prison all the time. Who knows, maybe this is my karma for covering up what happened with Xavier.” Kaylie suggests. “If karma was gonna bite anyone in the ass over that, it’d be my ass. I’m the one who killed Xavier, all you did was fib a bit.” Bethany says. Cooper walks in. “Good evening ladies.” Cooper says. “It was a good evening until you showed up and arrested my girlfriend! What the hell is the meaning of this?!” Bethany asks. “First off, Detective Simms isn’t under arrest. I brought her down here to ask her some questions.” Cooper says. “That’s too bad, because Kaylie isn’t saying a damn thing until her lawyer gets here.” Bethany says. “I’d like to hear that out of her mouth.” Cooper says. “Well before Kaylie answers any questions, I think she at least deserves to know what she’s doing here.” Bethany says. “I already told her why she’s here.” Cooper says. “No crap, Sherlock! We know she’s here because you think she stole evidence, but did it ever occur to you that she may want to know WHY you think that?” Bethany wonders. “I have the right to some answers of my own. I don’t even know Daisy Nichols, so it makes no sense that I’d steal evidence implicating her in a crime!” Kaylie points out. “Under normal circumstances I’d agree with you, but we have video proof of you committing the crime.” Cooper reveals! Kaylie and Bethany exchange shocked glances…

Lucas and Julia are standing in Julia’s office. “There was a body when Kitty Cat died. In fact, the person who killed her was my brother Corey.” Lucas reveals. Julia’s eyes widen. “Oh my God. I didn’t even know you had a brother.” Julia admits. “He’s not someone I talk about much.” Lucas says. “I can certainly understand why, given the whole murderer angle.” Julia says. “Corey wasn’t just a murderer...he was a serial killer. Kitty Cat was his first victim, after that he murdered a psychiatrist that was fairly new to town, and then...then he killed a teenage girl. With all that said, Corey and I were at odds long before he became a serial killer.” Lucas says. “A classic case of sibling rivalry I assume, I can certainly relate to that.” Julia says. “I doubt it. Somehow I don’t ever see you stealing Kaylie’s wife.” Lucas says. Julia’s eyes widen. “You stole your brother’s wife?” Julia asks. “No, my brother stole my wife. Her name is Adelina Harman, she’s Olivia Acerbi’s daughter. Adelina and I were married long before either of us came to Fantastic, which is when she and Corey had an affair.” Lucas says. “I’m sorry.” Julia says. “I’m not. I’m glad Corey and I were on bad terms when the truth about him being a killer came out, it would’ve been a lot more painful finding out if I gave a damn about my brother at all.” Lucas admits. “I’m guessing Corey must be in prison now, right?” Julia asks. Lucas shakes his head. “Corey has been dead for six years. He took a hostage after he was exposed, Rebecca Rogers caught up with him and after an altercation between the two she ended up stabbing him.” Lucas recalls. “Are you sorry Corey is gone?” Julia wonders. “I’m sorry things ended the way they did. I’m sorry Corey inserted himself in my marriage, I’m sorry Corey lost his mind, but taking all that into account, I can’t say I’m sorry Corey is dead.” Lucas says. “I wish things had been different for you two.” Julia says. “Me too, but I don’t want to dwell on it any longer. I’d much rather focus on keeping Issac away from Stefan and the rest of the Cats. I know Betty Thorne stays late at her office a lot of times, maybe we could drop by and pay her a visit, see if she’d be willing to represent Kaylie in the potential custody fight.” Lucas suggests. “Its worth a shot. We can’t let Stefan win custody.” Julia says.

“I’m only asking about Adelina’s whereabouts out of curiosity. When I knew you years ago, to my knowledge you didn’t have any children. Now that I’m back, you have three! I just want to get to know every aspect of your life, that’s how much you intrigue me.” Lawrence says. “That’s very kind of you to say.” Acerbi says. “So have you ever considered looking for Adelina? Surely you wish to see your daughter again someday.” Lawrence says. “I’ve considered it, especially recently. With Josephine and Brody both gone, Adelina is the only child I have left. But, the whole reason Lysandros Masters helped Adelina go into hiding was to protect her from Madeline Masters’s wrath. I’m worried that if I do manage to find Adelina, Madeline may be able to find her too and she may exact her revenge.” Acerbi admits. “We could keep Adelina safe on our own, we don’t need Lysandros Masters for that!” Lawrence says. “Are you suggesting we trade one of Lysandros’ safe houses in for a Stanpatos safe house?” Acerbi questions. “What I’m suggesting is that we bring Adelina home and that we keep her safe.” Lawrence tells Acerbi.

At the park, Kristina stands up, her eyes wide open in shock. “Please tell me I’m hallucinating right now.” Kristina says. “I see a blonde, very well dressed woman. Is that what you see?” Dylan questions. “Thank you for the compliment, Dylan, its probably the first time I’ve ever gotten one from you.” Kitty Cat says. “So I take it we know each other?” Dylan asks. “We did in a previous life.” Kitty Cat admits. “How the hell is this possible?! You are supposed to be six feet under!” Kristina points out. “I’m surprised you even have to ask. I was brought back from the brink of death the same exact way the two of you were. We should start a club or something.” Kitty Cat suggests. “Andropov brought you back.” Kristina realizes. “I’m sorry, but who is this woman?” Dylan questions. “Her name is Kitty Cat. Long story short, she’s a menace to society and everyone was doing cartwheels when we all thought she finally died.” Kristina says. “I think menace might be a bit of an exaggeration.” Kitty Cat says. “You kept quiet when Quinn Goo was running around pretending to be Dylan, you helped Quinn plant a bunch of bombs at The Aqua Casino so you could blow up what was supposed to be Andy and Rebecca’s wedding, and then when that didn’t work out, you decided to plant bombs around the whole freaking city! One of the casualties was my best friend Lucas’ son!” Kristina points out. “You couldn’t have been too offended by any of that seeing as you were the one who helped me flee town.” Kitty Cat recalls. “Biggest mistake of my life.” Kristina says. “Hold on, if this woman is as guilty as you claim she is, and I’m sure she is, how come she isn’t in prison?” Dylan wonders. “She made a deal with the WPA years ago. If she turned on The Master and told the police where they could find him, the WPA would drop all the charges against her.” Kristina recalls. “And I’ve been a law abiding citizen ever since.” Kitty Cat claims. “That’s only because you’ve been dead for six years. What are you even doing back in Fantastic?” Kristina questions. “I’m here to help Stefan. He recently discovered he has a son here in Fantastic and he’s trying to win full custody.” Kitty Cat reveals. “No, that’s impossible! Stefan should be even further up the river than you!” Kristina says. “Obviously you haven’t been keeping up with the news, Stefan is a free man. As it turns out, he was never actually a maniac, a brain tumor made him do all those questionable things.” Kitty Cat reveals. “Questionable? He tried to poison the whole city!” Kristina reminds her. “And who can really blame him? This city could use some good old fashioned population control. You don’t have to worry though, Stefan is no longer interested in pursuing you. His only interest right now is winning custody of his son.” Kitty Cat says. “Good luck to him, he’s really going to need it. Only an idiot would award custody of a child to a lunatic like Stefan, especially when he has an even bigger lunatic like you hanging around him!” Kristina says. “You should try to show me some more respect, we’re practically family.” Kitty Cat tells her. “Yeah, I am painfully aware!” Kristina says. “On that note, I’d like to offer my deepest condolences on the loss of your baby.” Kitty Cat says. “Thanks, but no thanks. I’m sure you know where you can shove your sympathy.” Kristina says. Kitty Cat smirks. “Someone is being awfully touchy. I can’t say I blame you, not just because of the death of your baby but also because a little birdie told me things aren’t going too great between you and Queen Goo’s idiot nephew. I assume that’s what you were cozying up to Dylan when I first walked up. If I remember correctly, you were never one who liked being alone for too long.” Kitty Cat says. “Watch the way you talk to her, or else.” Dylan warns. “Or else what? You’ll give me a stern lecture on politeness? I’m no more afraid of you now than I was back when you were a pesky police detective with a hero complex.” Kitty Cat says. “I’m far more dangerous than the man I used to be. I have Stanpatos resources at my disposal and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them if you continue to present a problem.” Dylan warns. “Wow, an actual threat. I have to say, this current Dylan Stanpatos is far superior to Dylan Stanpatos 1.0, I’d even go as far to say that I almost like you...almost. Anyways, I won’t take up anymore of your time kids, I just wanted to stop by, say hello, and let you both know that I was back.” Kitty Cat says. “Thank you so much! We can all rest so much easier now knowing that our lord and savior has risen from the depths of hell to once again grace us with her presence! Oh, and just so you know, if given the chance, I will happily testify at the custody hearing for Stefan’s child to let the courts know what an unfit father he would be.” Kristina says. “That would be a mistake.” Kitty Cat sneers. “No, the only mistake would be awarding that psycho full custody of a child when heA little, but I was mainly worried you wouldn’t want the company.” Dylan admits. “I really, REALLY want to tell you that I just want to be alone right now, but I’d be lying...I really don’t want to be alone.” should be rotting in a prison cell.” Kristina says. Kitty Cat gets in Kristina’s face. “Its important Issac be raised as a member of the Cat monarchy. If you do anything to jeopardize that, I’ll make you wish you’d never been born. In fact, losing your precious baby will seem like a walk in the park compared to what I’ll do to you.” Kitty Cat says. “So much for that practically family nonsense. The only people you consider family are the ones you can control. On that note, Stefan better watch out! The second he starts thinking for himself, in goes the knife straight into his back!” Kristina says. “I’m not going to listen to anymore of this nonsense. I have places to be, so I guess I’ll leave you to wallow in your grief.” Kitty Cat says. Kitty Cat goes to walk away but Kristina puts her foot out and trips her! Kitty Cat then falls straight first into the dirt, and Dylan starts to crack up laughing. “Oops.” Kristina sarcastically says.

“You never meant for any of this to happen.” Daisy points out. “It doesn’t matter what I meant, it did happen, that’s what counts in the end. I caused Kristina so much stress that she ended up miscarrying our baby.” Brady says. “You had good reason to be confrontational with Kristina, she destroyed your family!” Daisy points out. “Kristina swears up and down she had nothing to do with that.” Brady notes. “Then how do you explain the video?” Daisy questions. Brady shrugs. “I can’t, but I also can’t explain why Kristina would keep lying if she really was caught red handed! I have proof and she’s still saying she had nothing to do with it, why wouldn’t she just confess?” Brady wonders. “Because guilty people will do anything to cast the blame off of themselves!” Daisy says. “And you would know that better than anyone, wouldn’t you?” Brady asks. “You’re a mean drunk, you know that? I don’t even know why I’m wasting my time on you when obviously you don’t want my help!” Daisy snaps. “Why the hell would I want help?! I don’t have anything to get better for! I don’t have a family, I don’t have a wife, and because of my own stupidity, I don’t have a baby either!” Brady shouts. “So are you just going to spend the rest of your life wallowing in self pity then? Maybe even drink yourself to death?” Daisy questions. “Why the hell not? Who would miss me?” Brady asks. “Victor probably would. He might be an ass, but I know for a fact that he loves you.” Daisy says. “That’s a load of crap! The only person Victor loves is Victor, he proved that when he cheated on the mother of his kids! And honestly, who could blame Victor for not loving me? I’m a screw up!” Brady complains. “Don’t say that.” Daisy urges. “Its the truth! Do you think this is my first time spiraling outta control? It isn’t! When I thought Kristina was dead, back when your lousy brother faked her death, I started drinking then too!” Brady says. “You were grieving, I’m sure no one blamed you for turning to alcohol.” Daisy says. “I could blame the booze for my crappy behavior then but what about before then? Before I met Kristina? Do you know I spent a year in prison? True story! When I first came to town, Andre Stanpatos hired me to beat the crap out of Dylan.” Brady recalls. “I had no idea.” Daisy admits. “That’s not all. After that, I was supposedly shot dead by Franco Stanpatos, only I didn’t actually die. The WPA gave me a new face and a new identity: Brandon Waters. I ended up in cahoots with a really bad guy named Victor Fulton, and do you know what my job was working for Victor? It was to keep Lucas Cambino in check, because Lucas was working for Victor too and Lucas wasn’t doing everything Victor wanted! And that’s how I ended up in prison, people found out who I was and I got arrested.” Brady says. “You obviously grew up a lot while you were in prison. You got out, you turned over a new leaf, and you made a new life for yourself. That’s pretty inspirational.” Daisy notes. “Yeah...you know, I already planned on going on the straight and narrow when I first got out, but meeting Kristina was what made me really commit to it. I was attracted to her from the minute I first laid eyes on her. She was beautiful, witty, smart, everything I ever wanted in a woman. But at the time, she was with another guy...Mark Raymond.” Brady recalls. “Obviously things didn’t work out between Kristina and this other guy.” Daisy notes. “I’d say, the SOB tried to kill her, and that was after he kidnapped her at their own wedding!” Brady says. “That’s...a lot.” Daisy admits. “Yeah...you know, I really thought that after Mark was gone we had gotten through the worst of times. But then I lost Kristina for three years and she ended up coming back as The Evil Force. But even after all that...I still got her back. I never could’ve imagined that after all that things would get even worse, that Kristina would be so angry with me. What am I supposed to do without the love of my life?” Brady cries, before falling into Daisy’s arms…

Lucas and Julia arrive outside Betty’s office and Lucas knocks on the door. “Betty, its Lucas Cambino! I need to talk to you, its important!” Lucas calls out. Betty doesn’t respond. “Don’t tell me we wasted a trip.” Julia says. “I saw Betty’s car outside so she must be here. Maybe she’s in a meeting.” Lucas suggests. The door opens and Stefan walks out of Betty’s office! “Hello Julia, Lucas, how nice to see you both again.” Stefan greets them!

“How could you possibly have video evidence?” Bethany asks Cooper. “We have surveillance cameras outside the evidence room, and those cameras showed Kaylie walking up to the guard stationed outside the room. He walked away, she went in the room, and a few minutes later she came out holding a plastic bag. Now I talked to the guard that was outside the evidence room and he said Kaylie told him he was needed down in the squad room and that she’d keep an eye on the evidence room while he was gone. He went to the squad room, found out nobody needed his help, and when he got back to the evidence room Kaylie was gone. That’s about when we realized the recording we had on Daisy Nichols had gone missing, meaning the whole damn case against her had been tanked!” Cooper says. “I didn’t have anything to do with that!” Kaylie shouts. “Then how do you explain the video?!” Cooper questions. “You don’t have to answer that! In fact, you aren’t under arrest, you don’t even have to stay here!” Bethany says. “That’s not exactly true. The only reason I didn’t arrest Kaylie is because I wanted to give her the chance to explain herself. I’ve worked with her for a while, she’s always been a good cop in my experience, I just wanted to hear her side of things.” Cooper says. “My side of things is that I am innocent!” Kaylie snaps. Victor and Virginia barge into the room. “Leave my daughter ALONE!” Virginia yells. “This is getting out of hand! I allowed Miss. Wilson to be in here but ain’t no way I’m allowing a whole damn club in here!” Cooper states. “You better. I’m Miss. Simms’ attorney and I’d like some time to confer with my client.” Victor says. “Sure thing, but Miss. Wilson and Miss. Simms’ mother are gonna have to wait outside.” Cooper says. “And just who the hell do you think you are?!” Virginia questions. “I’m a police detective! This is my territory which means I’m the one calling the shots!” Cooper says. “If you keep up this mistreatment of my daughter, the only shots you’ll be calling will be telling people at the drive thru to pull up to the next window! If you keep railroading my daughter, I’ll have your job for this!” Virginia yells. “Mama, its okay. You can wait outside.” Kaylie says. “Are you sure?” Bethany asks. “Yeah, I’m sure.” Kaylie says. Bethany walks over to Kaylie and kisses her forehead. “Everything is gonna be okay.” Bethany says. “Lets go ladies.” Cooper says. Cooper, Bethany, and Virginia exit the room, and Victor sits across from Kaylie. “Alone at last.” Victor says. “Yeah...not to be rude, but I didn’t hire you, so what are you doing here?” Kaylie wonders. “I was with your mother when she found out you had been brought in for questioning. She was rightfully freaked out and she begged me to take your case. I’m not going to lie to you, a part of me did this to make inroads with your sister, but I also took your case because I believe you are a good person.” Victor says. “I appreciate the faith.” Kaylie says. “So tell me everything. Why do the police think you stole evidence against Daisy Nichols?” Victor questions. “I can’t explain it, but somehow they have video proof.” Kaylie reveals. “Define video proof.” Victor urges. “They have me on surveillance walking up to the evidence room, the guard outside left, I went inside, and then I walked out holding a plastic bag.” Kaylie says. “Have they spoken to the guard who was outside the evidence room?” Victor questions. “They did. Apparently, I showed up and told him he was needed in the squad room and that I would keep watch over the evidence room while he was gone. He went to the squad room, found out nobody needed him, and then went back to the evidence room and found that I was gone. I’m guessing right about now you aren’t so convinced that I’m a good person.” Kaylie assumes. Victor sighs. “If there weren’t a video, this whole case would be incredibly flimsy. Even with the statement of the other officer, you don’t have a motive! Do you even know Daisy?” Victor questions. “I literally just met her earlier today.” Kaylie reveals. “If you met her before the evidence theft, the prosecution could argue Daisy bribed you.” Victor says. “What if I met her after the evidence theft?” Kaylie wonders. “Then the prosecution could argue you’re lying about meeting Daisy for the first time and that the two of you have a prior connection.” Victor says. “Daisy can collaborate my story about just meeting for the first time. Andy too, he was there when I just met her.” Kaylie reveals. “You and Daisy could’ve faked meeting for the first time, all for Andy’s benefit so he wouldn’t suspect the two of you knew each other.” Victor suggests. “Its starting to sound like you don’t believe me.” Kaylie says. “I’m just bringing up all the points the prosecution is going to make if this goes to trial, and given the evidence, there is a very real chance that it will.” Victor says. “Do you think I’m going to prison?” Kaylie wonders. “I don’t like to make assumptions, especially this early on. What I can say is that I will do everything in my power to clear your name.” Victor says. “I really hope you can. All I can think about is that if I go to prison, then what happens to Issac? Will Stefan be able to take him?” Kaylie asks. “We’re going to make sure that doesn’t happen. But before we go any further, I’d like to remind you that any conversation we have is protected by attorney-client privilege, which means I can’t divulge anything you tell me to anyone. So, just to get this out of the way...did you do what you are being accused of?” Victor questions. “No, I didn’t!” Kaylie tells him. Victor nods. “Okay, I believe you.” Victor reveals. “Even with the video?” Kaylie asks. “I’m beginning not to trust videos anymore. There’s video proof that my daughter in law Kristina handed over the recording of me and your mother to Julia’s campaign manager, but Kristina swears up and down she had nothing to do with it.” Victor says. “Do you believe her?” Kaylie wonders. “I didn’t at first, but you finding yourself in the same situation as Kristina seems like too much of a coincidence. As such, I’m going to get to the bottom of this and find out who’s framing you.” Victor says.

“The thought of bringing Adelina home is exciting, but how can we be sure Madeline wouldn’t be able to get to her?” Acerbi wonders. “How do we know Madeline is even still after Adelina? Perhaps she lost interest.” Lawrence suggests. “I’m afraid that isn’t the case. I encountered Madeline at her daughter Lydia’s funeral and Madeline made it abundantly clear that Adelina is still on her radar.” Acerbi says. “If that’s the case, I think I have enough resources at my disposal to make sure Madeline doesn’t come within a 100 yard radius of Adelina. There’s no reason Adelina should be isolated in some safe house when she could come back home to her mother. Five years in hiding? Its absolute madness!” Lawrence exclaims. “I agree with you, and I would find a way to bring Adelina home in a heart beat if I thought for sure Madeline couldn’t reach her.” Acerbi says. Lawrence puts his hands on Acerbi’s shoulders. “You have my word that Madeline will not harm a hair on your daughter’s head.” Lawrence tells her. “I appreciate your assurance, but I’m not sure I am willing to take that risk, not when my daughter’s life is at risk.” Acerbi says. “I understand why you would be hesitant, but I suggest you don’t completely turn down my offer of protection. You should take some time to contemplate it, after you’ve done that, you can give me an answer that you are 100% comfortable with.” Lawrence says. “It will take some time for me to come to a decision, but regardless of whatever I decide...I am grateful that you are so willing to help my daughter, it shows me that you truly do care.” Acerbi says. “Of course I care. I’d do anything to make your life better, believe me.” Lawrence says. Lawrence then leans in and kisses Acerbi.

Dylan and Kristina are still laughing as Kitty Cat uses the park bench to pull herself up. “You tripped me!” Kitty Cat growls at Kristina. “No, I don’t think so. I think you were just being clumsy.” Kristina claims. “You should really watch where you’re going.” Dylan adds. “You both think you’re so funny.” Kitty Cat says. “I think Kristina is funny, and I also think you kinda had it coming.” Dylan says. “You really did. Honestly, you should be thanking your lucky stars we weren’t standing near a lake or anything. After all, you know how Cats are with water.” Kristina says. “You think this is such a joke. I wonder how amused you’ll be when I have you arrested for assault.” Kitty Cat says. “If you want to call the police, go ahead! It’ll give the cop something to laugh about. Its probably not every day they get called to a crime scene because someone got tripped. But, if you feel really passionate that a crime was committed today, feel free to call the cops. I’ll even do it for you! You were dead for six years so you might not remember the number.” Kristina notes. “I don’t have time for this! But trust me when I say that you haven’t seen the last of me!” Kitty Cat says, before storming off. “Thanks for the warning!” Kristina calls after her. Kristina turns towards Dylan. “That was really fun.” Kristina admits. “Feel any better?” Dylan wonders. Kristina smiles. “Yeah, actually...I kinda do. Who knew it would take Kitty Cat of all people to make me smile?” Kristina asks. “In fairness, it wasn’t Kitty Cat per say, it was Kitty Cat falling face first into the mud. In any case, I’m glad to see you smiling, you have a really pretty smile.” Dylan says. “Thanks, not just for the compliment but also for having my back with Kitty Cat.” Kristina says. “The woman had me replaced with an imposter. To think she thought anyone could ever compare to the greatness that is me shows she isn’t too bright.” Dylan jokes. Kristina laughs. “Its good to hear you laugh.” Dylan says. “Its good to be laughing again. These last few days have been such doom and gloom, its nice to not be feeling depressed, even if its just for a minute. But, its probably only going to last for a minute. My plans for the rest of the night are me going to an empty hotel room where I’ll be alone with nothing but my thoughts.” Kristina says. “You have other options.” Dylan tells her. “Like what?” Kristina asks. “You could always come stay with me.” Dylan suggests. “Are you serious?” Kristina questions. “Sure, why not? We get along pretty good.” Dylan notes. “Sure we do, but me and Lawrence don’t! Just the sight of him makes my skin crawl.” Kristina says. “I get it, how about we compromise?” Dylan asks. “I’m listening.” Kristina says. “You could always stay in the gatehouse.” Dylan suggests. “That doesn’t belong to the gate keeper or someone?” Kristina asks. “We don’t have a gate keeper anymore. The house is vacant, and its yours if you want it. Its not anything big, its basically a studio but its a house. The bedroom, kitchen, and living room are all in one room but its still pretty cozy. I know you aren’t crazy about moving on to the property because of the bad blood between you and my father, but I’d feel like a bad friend if I didn’t at least offer.” Dylan says. “I think the gatehouse would be more than enough distance between Lawrence and I, but this would only be until I get back on my feet. I don’t plan on moving in permanently.” Kristina says. “I know that, its just to avoid you living in a hotel room, which I don’t think you want.” Dylan says. “Oh God no! Definitely not. Another plus of moving into the gatehouse is that I’ll have a friendly face close by if I need a shoulder to cry on.” Kristina points out. “That’s definitely a bonus, not just for you but for me too. Though I am growing fond of having my father around, he doesn’t exactly make for engaging company. So, does all this mean that you’ll be moving in?” Dylan wonders. Kristina smiles. “I’d love to.” Kristina tells him. Meanwhile, Kitty Cat can be seen hiding behind a tree nearby…

In the Goo Parlor, Brady wipes away one final tear. “Feel any better?” Daisy questions. “Not really. I’m not sure I ever will…” Brady says. “You definitely won’t if you keep drinking.” Daisy notes. “It numbs the pain.” Brady argues. “Does it? Because it doesn’t look numb to me. So on top of being in pain, you’re in pain and you’re slowly killing yourself. I understand what you’re going through, believe me. Not only have I lost the man I love more than once but I’ve also lost a baby, and as difficult as it is to deal with the pain of a breakup and losing a child, I can speak from experience that its possible to come back from it.” Daisy says. “How am I supposed to move on from Kristina like I didn’t just spend the last six years loving her?” Brady wonders. “I wasn’t suggesting you move on, far from it! If you love her, you need to fight for her.” Daisy tells him. “That’s not gonna work, Kristina won’t ever forgive me.” Brady says. “How do you know that for sure? Because Kristina told you? Of course she said that, she’s furious right now! But eventually, once she starts to feel better, she’s going to remember that you are the man she loves, her soulmate.” Daisy says. “You really believe that?” Brady asks. “I do, because true love always wins in the end, and what you and Kristina had was a romance straight out of a fairy tale.” Daisy says. Brady smiles. “You know, you aren’t half as bad as people say.” Brady says. “I’m glad at least someone can see that.” Daisy says. Daisy stands up and pulls Brady back to his feet. “Come on.” Daisy tells him. “Where are we going?” Brady wonders. “We’re going to put you to bed so you can sleep the alcohol off. Tomorrow is a brand new day.” Daisy says. “I still wont have Kristina…” Brady notes. “And you never will if you keep drinking. So every time you feel the temptation to drink, you need to remember what you’re fighting for.” Daisy says. “Thanks, I really appreciate your help.” Brady says, before hugging Daisy. Daisy then leads Brady out of the room.

Lucas and Julia are face to face with Stefan outside Betty’s office. “What are you doing here?” Julia wonders. “I came to visit Miss. Thorne because I was hoping to retain her services.” Stefan reveals. “Well I hope Betty had the good sense to laugh in your face.” Julia says. “Why don’t you ask her yourself? Have a lovely night.” Stefan tells Julia. Stefan smirks at Lucas before walking out. Lucas and Julia exchange a look before walking into Betty’s office and finding her sitting behind her desk. “Good evening Lucas, Julia, this is quite the unexpected surprise. It seems awfully late for a visit.” Betty notes. “I know, I never would’ve bothered you if it wasn’t important.” Lucas says. “Before we get into any of that, what was Stefan Cat doing here?” Julia questions. “Mr. Cat came to me for the reason most people do, he was seeking legal representation.” Betty reveals. “Stefan isn’t in any legal trouble as far as I know, which means he must want to hire you to sue Kaylie for custody of Issac. Please tell me you turned him away!” Julia urges. “Come now Julia, you know that I can’t disclose the specifics regarding what Mr. Cat wanted to hire me for, but I can tell you that I did indeed accept his case.” Betty reveals. “Are you out of your mind?!” Julia questions. “I assure you, I am quite sane.” Betty says. “Stefan is a monster!” Lucas points out. “In fairness, you are hardly qualified for sainthood yourself.” Betty notes. “Oh please! Lucas never tried to poison an entire city! I always knew you’d do anything for the right price, but I never imagined you would stoop as low to represent a terrorist like Stefan Cat! You have to know that man isn’t fit to raise a child!” Julia says. “That isn’t my call to make, that sort of decision would be in the hands of the courts. Now surely the two of you didn’t come all this way just to ridicule me on my choice of clients, so is there something you needed?” Betty wonders. “Never mind, I think we’re all set.” Julia snaps, before storming out. “Surely you can understand why I accepted this case.” Betty says. “No, I can’t actually.” Lucas says, before walking out himself. Betty sighs.

As Kaylie and Victor are still talking in the interrogation room, Cooper comes back in. “Times up. Time for you to answer some questions, Detective Simms.” Cooper says. “What do you want to know?” Kaylie wonders. “I’d like you to answer my biggest question: did you steal the evidence against Daisy Nichols?” Cooper asks. “I already told you I didn’t.” Kaylie says. “Then how do you explain the video?” Cooper questions. “I can’t. Maybe the video was doctored, maybe the person on camera isn’t actually me. All I know is that I had nothing to do with this. Why would I? Before today, I had never even met Daisy Nichols!” Kaylie says. “When did you see Miss. Nichols today?” Cooper wonders. “It was right after you called me and told me to go talk to Andy Goo about the commissioner’s disappearance.” Kaylie reveals. “Wait a minute, Rebecca is missing?!” Victor asks. “Lets stay on topic here. Detective Simms, what time did you get to the castle to talk to Andy Goo?” Cooper questions. “I think it was around 4:45.” Kaylie says. “Interesting. I called you about going to talk to Andy around 3:57, and video surveillance shows you entering the police station at 4:11. Did you head to the castle right after you hung up with me?” Cooper asks. “Yeah, you can even ask my bodyguard if you don’t believe me.” Kaylie says. “How come it took you nearly an hour to get to the castle? Fantastic isn’t exactly a big city.” Cooper points out. “It took me a while to get my car started, I was having issues.” Kaylie says. “Did anyone else see you having these issues?” Cooper asks. “No...no one else was around.” Kaylie admits. “I see...so its possible that before going to talk to Andy, you made a pit stop here at the P.D to steal some evidence.” Cooper suggests. “What possible motive could my client have to do such a thing?” Victor questions. “Maybe Miss. Nichols paid her to do it. She’s The Evil Force’s daughter, all his money probably went to her after he died.” Cooper says. “Nice try, but I have it under good authority that The Evil Force didn’t leave Daisy a penny. Besides, my client herself comes from a wealthy family! If she was in desperate need of money, her mother would likely be more than happy to give her some! But I’m sure you probably didn’t know that when you began this ridiculous crusade against my client.” Victor says. “Here is what I know! Your client was caught on video surveillance walking into the evidence room and then walking out with an evidence bag in hand! On top of that, we have an eye witness that places her at the scene of the crime, AND she doesn’t have an alibi! In my book, we’ve got a rock solid case against your client! I know it, and you know it too!” Cooper tells Victor. “If this case is so rock solid, then how come Kaylie hasn’t been arrested yet?” Victor questions. “I wanted to give her the chance to explain herself, but so far she hasn’t done a damn thing to help her case.” Cooper says.

Out in the squad room, Virginia is pacing. “What the hell is going on?! Why do the cops think Kaylie stole evidence?” Virginia wonders. “There’s apparently video proof, but it doesn’t make any sense! Not only does Kaylie hardly know Daisy, but she would never steal evidence!” Bethany says. “I know that for sure! Kaylie feels bad about dropping a straw wrapper on the ground, yet those fools expect me to believe my daughter has thrown in with the resident crazy girl? And not just any crazy girl, the daughter of one of the most infamous criminals in the world?! I’m not buying it, not for one second!” Virginia says. The door to the interrogation room opens and Cooper leads Kaylie out, followed by Victor. Bethany rushes over to Kaylie and hugs her. “I’m so glad to see you, Kay. Can we leave now?” Bethany asks. “Detective Simms isn’t going anywhere.” Cooper says. “What is he talking about?” Bethany asks. “Cooper arrested me.” Kaylie reveals. “WHAT?! This is an outrage!” Virginia yells. “Mama, its alright…” Kaylie says. “The hell it is! This is FAAAAAAR from alright! My baby girl is being treated like some dangerous criminal!” Virginia yells. Virginia turns towards Victor. “Is there anything we can do to stop this?!” Virginia questions. “I can probably get Kaylie arraigned in the morning.” Victor says. “And what are we supposed to do until then?” Virginia questions. “I’m...I’m gonna have to stay here tonight.” Kaylie says. “Here?! As in a jail cell?! With a bunch of blood thirsty criminals who hate cops?!” Virginia asks. “Don’t worry, your daughter will be kept in protective custody.” Cooper says. “She better be! Because if anything happens to my baby girl because of this department’s incompetence, so help me...I’ll make sure every damn cop that works here is filing for unemployment by the end of the week!” Virginia shouts. Virginia turns towards Kaylie. “Baby, anything you need, just ask. I’ve got you.” Virginia tells her. “Go to my apartment, get Issac from the sitter and bring him home with you, and please tell him Mommy loves him and will see him soon.” Kaylie says. Virginia nods and then pulls Kaylie into an embrace. “Everything is gonna be okay, don’t worry about a thing.” Virginia tells her. Virginia lets go and Bethany walks over to Kaylie. “Your Mom is right. Not only is everything gonna be okay, but I won’t rest until I find out who did this and make their life a living hell.” Bethany says. “Thanks for always believing in me.” Kaylie says. “I’ll never stop believing in you.” Bethany says. “Time to go. If you want to get to bed at a decent time, we’ve better get you booked.” Cooper tells Kaylie. Kaylie pulls Bethany into a hug. “I’ll see you soon...real soon.” Kaylie cries. Kaylie lets go and Cooper leads her out of the room...
