At Lydia’s mansion, Lucas is standing in the study, looking at a wedding photo of him and Lydia. Lucas hears a knock on the door and turns to see Kristina standing in the doorway. “Hey, I hope it’s okay I dropped by so late.” Kristina says. Lucas turns and smiles. “You kidding? You know I’m always happy to see you.” Lucas says, as he puts the picture down. Kristina walks in and notices the picture. “Thinking of Lydia, huh?” Kristina asks. “Not a moment goes by where I’m not thinking about her.” Lucas admits. “I figured…the reason I stopped by is because I wanted to see how you were holding up. I know, it’s probably a stupid question.” Kristina says. Lucas sighs. “I’m not doing good, not good at all. I actually went to the prison to visit Lydia earlier today, and…it really hurts seeing her in that place. What hurts even more though is that it’s all for nothing, she didn’t even do anything wrong! You believe that, right? You aren’t buying into the bogus narrative that Lydia set out to kill Mia in cold blood?” Lucas asks. “Absolutely! Although I don’t think I’d blame Lydia if she did. After everything that woman has done to the two of you, she got what she deserved.” Kristina says. “Well now Lydia is paying the price, and I’m terrified I won’t be able to get her out of this.” Lucas admits.

At Baronville, Lydia is led into the visiting room and finds Acerbi sitting on the other side of the glass wall. Lydia sits across from her and picks up the phone. “Hi! This is a pleasant surprise!” Lydia says. “Hello Lydia. I’m sorry for stopping in so late. I had planned on visiting sooner, but there was an emergency at the hospital.” Acerbi says. “It’s fine. Serena and Lucas both stopped by today, so it’s probably better you came a little later. It’s good to see you.” Lydia says. “It’s good to see you as well, though I wish it were under better circumstances. Tell me, what is the status on the investigation into Mia’s murder? Are the police any closer to proving you shot Mia in self defense?” Acerbi questions. “I’m pretty sure the police are less focused on proving I shot Mia in self defense and more focused on proving I killed her in cold blood.” Lydia says. “That is preposterous! This never would have happened if my Josephine were still on that police force! Clearly Rebecca Rogers is not doing her job adequately!” Acerbi says. “I don’t think it’s really up to Rebecca when the evidence is supporting the theory that I shot Mia in cold blood. I still can’t believe she actually set out to set me up for her own murder that day. Just thinking about the lengths she was willing to go to just to hurt Lucas and I…it’s mind boggling! How wretched of a human being do you have to be to sacrifice your own life just to ruin someone else’s life?” Lydia asks. “It comes as no surprise to me that Mia would resort to such extremes. Every time you and Lucas bested her, she detested you even more than before.” Acerbi says. “Yeah, well even though she’s dead, she clearly got the last laugh.” Lydia says. “But not for long. The truth always comes out, and when it does, you will be set free and Mia’s little bit of satisfaction will evaporate as she burns in hell for the rest of eternity.” Acerbi says. “Maybe I would have more faith if the person prosecuting my case was at all objective.” Lydia says. “Are you referring to Julia?” Acerbi questions. “She is determined to see me go down for Mia’s murder, and I’m convinced it’s because she’s angry with me for coming between her and Lucas. Now thanks to that, she’s coming after me with everything she has.” Lydia says.

At the Fantastic P.D, Rebecca is sitting in her office when there is a knock at the door. “Come in!” Rebecca calls out. The door opens and Andy pokes his head in. “Hey, this a bad time?” Andy asks. “Of course it’s not a bad time! It’s never a bad time for you.” Rebecca says. Andy walks in, carrying a brown paper bag. “What’s in the bag? I hope you know that I’m not allowed to drink on the job.” Rebecca jokes. “It’s not booze. I brought you some takeout from Slate Gray, I figured you could use it since you’re gonna be working late.” Andy says, as he places the bag on Rebecca’s desk. “I appreciate that. Have a seat, I have a minute to talk if you want to stick around for a bit.” Rebecca says. “Don’t mind if I do.” Andy says, as he sits across from Rebecca. “So how’s your day going so far? Anything interesting happen?” Andy asks. “I’m sure you remember from when you held this position that there’s never a dull moment. Today I had the pleasure of arresting Daisy.” Rebecca reveals. “Oh boy, what did she do now?” Andy wonders. “I caught her snooping through a file I had on my desk.” Rebecca says. “Why would she care about some file on your desk?” Andy wonders. “I told you before about how Daisy came to me looking to team up with me so we could both try and clear Lysandros, right?” Rebecca asks. “Right, but you turned her down. You didn’t want her getting involved because of Lawrence’s involvement.” Andy notes. “Correct. Well Daisy came to me again earlier today. Somehow she found out that Lawrence was searching for the diamond ring and that we were also searching for it.” Rebecca says. “Does she know it’s one of the three diamond jewels?” Andy asks. “She didn’t, at least not until she looked into the file. The file I had on my desk was about Lydia’s kidnapping, and how the person who had kidnapped Lydia was after the three diamond jewels.” Rebecca says. “Information that hadn’t been released to the public.” Andy notes. “Exactly. And after reading the file, Daisy drew the conclusion that the ring Lawrence was trying to track down was part of the three diamond jewels, and that meant he was likely the one who orchestrated Lydia’s kidnapping and then framed Lysandros.” Rebecca says. “That has disaster written all over it. If Daisy confronts Lawrence with this info, she could be putting herself in harm’s way!” Andy notes. “I know. I have Daisy in a cell downstairs, but she’s already called someone for help. I’d say it’s only a matter of time before she’s out of here, and then god knows what she’ll do after that.” Rebecca says.

Downstairs in the jail, Daisy is pacing around in her cell when a guard lets Dylan into the cell block. Daisy immediately rushes over to the bars. “There you are! What took you so long?” Daisy questions. “I was in the middle of a meeting, Daisy! I couldn’t exactly drop what I was doing and sprint down here!” Dylan says. “Of course you could have! I’m the mother of your child, I’m more important than some silly meeting!” Daisy says. “You’re lucky that I came at all! So you mind telling me what you’ve gotten yourself into this time?” Dylan asks. “I’ll tell you all about it during the ride home.” Daisy says. “Who said anything about going home? I haven’t posted your bail yet.” Dylan notes. “Well what the hell are you waiting for then?! There isn’t much time left until-” Daisy begins to say. “Until what? Everyone goes home and you’re forced to spend the night? I’m well aware of that.” Dylan says. “Then you shouldn’t be dragging your feet on this! I can’t stay here all night, Harper needs me! I’m the only one that is able to sing her to sleep at night.” Daisy notes. “And you will be there to sing her to sleep tonight, but first I’m going to need you to give me some clarity on this mess you’ve gotten yourself into.” Dylan says. Daisy sighs. “I mean…it was nothing bad.” Daisy says. “It was bad enough for you to get arrested.” Dylan says. “Please! Anyone else would have gotten a warning, I’m only in here because Rebecca is a spiteful wench.” Daisy says. “The police commissioner arrested you personally?” Dylan asks. “I could have jay walked and Rebecca would have made sure to arrest me herself.” Daisy points out. “Is that what you did?” Dylan asks. “No! Look, I came by earlier today to try and make a deal with Rebecca. She refused to work with me, she stepped out briefly, so I took a gander at a file that was sitting on her desk.” Daisy says. “You mean a police file? Gee, I don’t know why Rebecca would’ve arrested you.” Dylan sarcastically says. “Well I wasn’t expecting her to come back so soon! But yeah, that’s what happened. I looked at the file, Rebecca caught me, and of course she arrested me. It’s a good thing she isn’t pulling double duty as the police commissioner and a judge, or else I’d end up doing life in prison for this, and that’s only because the death penalty is illegal in this state!” Daisy says. “If Rebecca was pulling triple duty as a cop, judge, and congress woman, she might be able to legalize the death penalty just for you. So what was in this file?” Dylan asks. “It was about Lydia’s kidnapping.” Daisy says. “Oh for god’s sake, not this again. You still believe Lysandros is innocent?” Dylan asks. “I don’t just believe it anymore, Dylan! Now I’m certain of it! I figured out who really arranged for Lydia to be kidnapped!” Daisy says. “Who?” Dylan questions. Daisy smirks. “Bail me out of here and I’ll tell you all about it.” Daisy says. Dylan groans. “You drive a hard bargain. Alright, let me see what I can do.” Dylan says. “Thank you!” Daisy says. “All I know is that this story of yours better be worth it.” Dylan says, before exiting the cell block. “Oh, you have no idea.” Daisy mutters…

In Lydia’s study, Lucas and Kristina sit on the couch. “Don’t think like that! Lydia is innocent and the truth is going to come out eventually!” Kristina says. “How? Mia is dead, so it’s not like she’s any help. Even if she were alive, I know she wouldn’t do anything to help exonerate Lydia. Not only that, but it doesn’t help that the district attorney has it in for Lydia.” Lucas says. “You think Julia is letting her personal feelings for Lydia cloud her judgment?” Kristina asks. “I know that she is. I understand that I hurt Julia, and I don’t blame her a bit for despising both Lydia and I. But what she’s doing…it’s wrong! Sending an innocent woman to prison just because you don’t like her is wrong!” Lucas notes. “I can sorta understand why Julia wouldn’t be thinking that way. The day the two of you were supposed to get married, her life was turned upside down. I was there when you were missing, Lucas. Julia was out of her mind with worry, afraid that something might’ve happened to you! I can’t imagine how it must’ve felt for you to come back and then tell her that you didn’t want to be with her anymore and that you were going back to Lydia. But, if she really is trying to railroad Lydia, that doesn’t justify her actions.” Kristina says. “Believe me, I feel badly for Julia too. I hate that I had to hurt her the way I did…” Lucas says. “It wasn’t your fault, though! You would have let Julia go a lot sooner if Mia and Andropov hadn’t screwed with your mind!” Kristina points out. “Julia doesn’t see it that way. I reassured her a million times that I only had eyes for her, and then I still ended up turning around and breaking her heart…but regardless, that’s no excuse for the way she’s treating Lydia now. She’s abusing her power to get revenge on Lydia, and I’m not gonna let her get away with it. One way or another, I’m getting Lydia out of this mess.” Lucas says. “I know you will. If anyone is able to help Lydia clear her name, it’s you.” Kristina says. “Well even if I can’t clear Lydia’s name, I’ll be damned if I let her spend the rest of her life rotting away in prison.” Lucas says. “What’s that supposed to mean?” Kristina wonders. “I still have connections from back when I was in the mob. If it came to it…I could get Lydia out of there.” Lucas says. “Get her out by getting her released?” Kristina questions. Lucas doesn’t respond. “No, of course not. Lucas, I don’t think Lydia would approve of you busting her out of prison.” Kristina says. “I won’t, so long as I’m able to prove her innocence.” Lucas says. “And if you can’t, you’re going to break her out? The two of you are going to spend the rest of your lives on the run?” Kristina asks. “If that’s what it takes to keep Lydia safe, then yes. All I know is that I am not going to let her lose her freedom when she’s innocent. One way or another, I am getting her out of that hellhole.” Lucas says.

“So you believe that Julia could be letting her anger towards you dictate how she is pursuing this case?” Acerbi wonders. “Absolutely! She is determined to see me spend the rest of my life in prison!” Lydia says. “I understand why Julia feels hurt, but she needs to understand that Mia is more responsible for her pain than you are! Lucas would never have fallen in love with her if Mia hadn’t kept you hidden away all these years! And Lucas never would have decided to stay with her after you returned if Mia hadn’t conditioned him to do so! Whether Julia would like to admit it or not, all three of you are victims of Mia’s shenanigans.” Acerbi says. “Well good luck helping Julia understand that.” Lydia says. “If Julia doesn’t understand, I would be more than happy to help! I will go over there right now and make her understand!” Acerbi says. “Olivia, don’t do that.” Lydia urges. “Why not?! Clearly she is allowing her emotions to get the better of her, someone needs to help her see the light, help her realize that what she is doing to you is wrong! Mia is the real enemy here and she is dead! That should be cause for celebration! Instead, Julia is taking advantage of the situation, hoping to use it to destroy your life! Well this will not stand!” Acerbi says. “Well going over there and trying to change her mind isn’t going to do any good. Lucas already tried that and he said it blew up in his face.” Lydia notes. “I’m not Lucas.” Acerbi points out. “No, but Julia knows that you and I are friends. That alone is enough reason for her to slam the door in your face before you’re even able to start your pitch.” Lydia says. Acerbi sighs. “I suppose you are right. Besides the fact that you have been locked away for a crime you did not commit, how are you doing? Are you surviving okay in here?” Acerbi wonders. “Needless to say, the living conditions leave a lot to be desired. None of the other inmates have really given me much trouble yet, at least not physically.” Lydia says. “What does that mean?” Acerbi wonders. “It means I’m sharing a cell with the last person on earth I would want to be sharing living quarters with.” Lydia says. “Please tell me you are not referring to whom I think you are referring to.” Acerbi says. “I probably am. You remember Zoey Kellers, right?” Lydia asks. “How could I forget? Our friendship began when that woman was trying to drive a wedge between you and Lucas. She moved herself into your home, she drugged Lucas and made it appear that the two of them had slept together.” Acerbi recalls. “And then she ended up getting sent to prison because Mia arranged for evidence of her previous crimes to reach the police. Ironic that we’re both locked up because of Mia Goo.” Lydia says. “Well I hope Zoey isn’t causing you too much trouble.” Acerbi says. “She’s just being really annoying. If I end up getting convicted though, I could end up sharing a cell with Zoey for YEARS. I’m not sure I could handle that! I may just end up killing her!” Lydia says. “Well if by some horrible brush of luck, you ARE convicted of killing Mia, I suppose there would be no harm in killing Zoey as well. You would already be serving a life sentence most likely, so what’s the worst that could happen?” Acerbi says. “I was only kidding, I’m not actually going to kill Zoey.” Lydia says. “I was kidding as well!” Acerbi claims. Lydia laughs. “No you weren’t!” Lydia says. Acerbi smiles. “I’m happy I could bring you some joy in such a dark and gloomy time in your life.” Acerbi says. “Thank you for that.” Lydia says. The guard walks up to Lydia. “Time to wrap this up.” The guard says. Lydia sighs. “I have to go. Thank you for stopping by.” Lydia says. “Of course. This won’t be the last you see of me either, I promise you that.” Acerbi says. “Well hopefully the next time you see me, it’ll be at Slate Gray.” Lydia says. “I’ll continue to keep hope alive. Take care, Lydia.” Acerbi says. “You too.” Lydia says. Lydia stands up and the guard escorts her out of the visiting room.

“Hopefully Daisy knows better than to confront Lawrence with what she knows. But even if she doesn’t, she doesn’t have any proof to back up her claims. Lawrence will know there isn’t anything she can do to hurt him.” Andy says. “Daisy is the head of a media company, she could very easily use her access to the press to tarnish Lawrence’s reputation.” Rebecca points out. “She can’t print that Lawrence was involved in Lydia’s kidnapping. She doesn’t have any proof so she’d just be opening herself up to a lawsuit.” Andy notes. “Do you really think that would stop her? Daisy has always been impulsive, you and I both know that. She’s incapable of thinking too far ahead which could prove incredibly dangerous where Lawrence is concerned. If she makes an enemy out of him, it’s not going to matter that she’s the mother of his granddaughter, he will kill her.” Rebecca says. Andy sighs. “I’ve got a bad feeling about this.” Andy says. “About Daisy?” Rebecca asks. “About all of it! Too many people are getting involved in this diamond jewel mess. Lydia is involved because she had the bracelet at one point, Lysandros is involved because Lawrence framed him for kidnapping Lydia, you and I are involved, Ava is involved because of how close she’s getting to Lawrence, Dylan is involved because he’s Lawrence’s son, we got Jackie Jennings involved when we asked her to help us track down the ring, V.J and Serena became involved when Madeline sent V.J after the ring, Ciara is involved, and now Daisy is a part of this.” Andy notes. “A lot of lives are at risk, people that Lawrence could hurt if they get in his way. We can’t just be focused on trying to get to the jewels before he does, we need to also be focused on finding a way to bring him down! Before he’s able to seriously hurt anyone!” Rebecca says. “I agree, but we also need to stay on top of this search for the jewels. If Lawrence manages to find them before we can, the results could be catastrophic. Just look at what Madeline nearly did when she had all three jewels all those years ago.” Andy recalls. “Something tells me that whatever Lawrence is up to could be just as big, if not bigger than what Madeline tried to do. We can’t let this go on, we need to stop him by whatever means necessary.” Rebecca says.

At the Stanpatos mansion, Daisy and Dylan walk into the living room. “Where’s Lawrence?” Daisy asks. “Pretty sure he already went to bed for the night, why do you ask?” Dylan asks. “Can you close the doors first? I don’t want anyone to hear us talking.” Daisy says. Dylan turns around and closes the doors leading out to the foyer. “Okay, spill. Who kidnapped Lydia?” Dylan asks. “It was Lawrence.” Daisy reveals. “What would give you that idea?” Dylan questions. “Because that ring you and Lawrence have been searching for is actually part of a set known as the three diamond jewels!” Daisy tells him. “Where did you get this information?” Dylan asks. “You don’t seem all that surprised about the ring being one of the diamond jewels. Did you…did you already know?! How deep are you in this?!” Daisy questions. “Just tell me everything you know!” Dylan urges. “I’m not sure I want to. I’m not really sure how trustworthy you are.” Daisy admits. “Seriously? You of all people are questioning how trustworthy I am?” Dylan asks. “Were you involved in Lydia’s kidnapping?” Daisy questions. “No, of course I wasn’t! I realize that Lydia and I may share some ugly history, but I would never have resorted to faking her death and keeping her prisoner for two years! That’s taking things just a bit too far! Why would you even ask me that?” Dylan asks. “Because you and Lawrence are searching for the three diamond jewels and Lydia had one of those jewels!” Daisy states. “Wait, what?” Dylan asks. “What, daddy didn’t tell you? Why am I not surprised? See, according to the file that Rebecca had on her desk, Lydia was kidnapped because someone wanted to find out where she had stashed the diamond bracelet. Now don’t you think it’s a bit of a coincidence that Lawrence just so happens to be searching for those same jewels? And that the place Lydia was being held prisoner just so happened to be on Stanpatos Isle?” Daisy asks. “I-I thought it was suspicious that Stanpatos Isle was where Mia and Lysandros chose to hold Lydia…” Dylan admits. “That’s because it wasn’t Lysandros. Lawrence was the one behind everything, including framing Lysandros for Lydia’s kidnapping. And since you’ve been helping him search for those jewels, you may as well say that you’ve been aiding and abetting him.” Daisy says. “Make no mistake, I am not helping my father!” Dylan states. “No? So what would you call helping him search for those jewels?” Daisy asks. “It’s better you don’t know.” Dylan says. “Damn it, Dylan! I am so tired of getting that as a response from EVERYONE! You, Rebecca, no one wants to tell me what is going on! Well I’m not going to accept that anymore! If you want to keep me out of danger, then you better start talking! Otherwise, I am going to march upstairs and confront your psychotic father with everything that I know!” Daisy threatens. “Alright! I know it looks like I’m helping Lawrence, but the only reason I’m going along with his plan is because I’m trying to find out more about what he’s up to. I want him to trust me so that he’ll feel like he can confide in me! Once I know more about his plan, I’ll have the ammunition I need to take him down once and for all.” Dylan says. “Do you know why he’s trying to collect these three jewels?” Daisy asks. “He’s planning something…something big. He hasn’t told me any particulars, but what I do know is that he plans to make the Stanpatos dynasty the most powerful empire to have ever existed on this planet, something about ushering in a new age for the Stanpatos family and for the world. I also know that people are going to die as a result of whatever he has planned.” Dylan says. “This sounds like it could be huge.” Daisy says. “It is huge, all the more reason why I don’t want you anywhere near this! Daisy, Lawrence is incredibly dedicated to whatever he has in the works. If you try to get in his way, I have no doubt he wouldn’t hesitate to kill you.” Dylan says. “Is this why you turned on him? Because you’re afraid of whatever he has in the works?” Daisy wonders. “I’ve suspected for quite some time now that Lawrence was planning something, the day he told me about the diamond jewels just confirmed my suspicions. I also know that he’s been trying to discreetly control me pretty much since he arrived back in Fantastic.” Dylan says. “Sounds like you and I have a common goal then. You want to be let off of the leash Lawrence has you on, I want to prove Lysandros was set up, both of those would involve bringing Lawrence down. They say two heads are better than one, and you and I have always made a pretty good team, whether you want to admit it or not.” Daisy says. “Are you suggesting we work together?” Dylan questions. “I think it’s the best chance we have at bringing Lawrence down. Rebecca is trying but she has certain rules she needs to follow, you and I don’t have those rules because we play by our own. What do you say?” Daisy asks. “I say I don’t want to put you in any more danger.” Dylan says. “I know Lawrence is searching for the jewels and I know he kidnapped Lydia, I’d say I’m already in danger. Might as well make it count by doing everything we can to stop him, right?” Daisy asks. Daisy extends her hand. “What do you say? Partners?” Daisy asks. Dylan grabs Daisy’s hand and shakes it. “Partners. Let’s obliterate that evil bastard, once and for all.” Dylan says…
