Fantastic S5 Episode 40(12/25/23)
Its Christmas Day in Fantastic City. At the Goo Castle, Rebecca is kneeling down in front of the christmas tree in the living room when Andy walks in. “Don’t even think about it!” Andy warns. Rebecca stands up and turns towards Andy. “I wasn’t doing anything!” Rebecca claims. “Come on, you really think I’m gonna buy that? We both know what you were up to.” Andy says. “And what might that be?” Rebecca asks. “You were looking through your presents. Feeling them, shaking them, maybe even ripping off little pieces of wrapping paper, just enough where you think I won’t notice.” Andy says. Rebecca smiles. “That’s absurd.” Rebecca says. “It isn’t absurd, you’ve been doing this for as long as I’ve known you. In fact, I think you might be worse than our daughter when it comes to presents.” Andy says. “Okay, now that is a low blow.” Rebecca says. Andy smiles. “The truth hurts sometimes. But don’t worry about any of the presents under the tree right now, I’ve got a very special present I wanted to give you before all the festivities started.” Andy says. “Oh? One that isn’t under the tree?” Rebecca asks. “One that isn’t under the tree.” Andy confirms. Andy reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small present. “For you, sweetheart, the love of my life.” Andy says. Rebecca opens the present and pulls out a watch. “Oh my goodness, its beautiful. Wait a minute…is that a picture of you, me, and Ava inside the watch?” Rebecca asks. “That’s right. Its that picture we took together in London over the summer.” Andy says. Rebecca smiles. “I really love it, thank you.” Rebecca says. “No, thank you for being in my life. I don’t know what I’d ever do without you.” Andy says, before leaning in and kissing Rebecca. Ava walks in. “Ew, will you two get a room?” Ava asks. “Sorry, your father just gave me a really amazing gift.” Rebecca says, as she shows Ava the watch. “Oh my god, its gorgeous!” Ava exclaims. “And it has a picture of the three of us inside.” Rebecca says. “Nice! How much did that cost you, Dad?” Ava wonders. “Doesn’t matter. Where you and your Mom are concerned, no price is too high.” Andy says. “So who’s coming over today?” Ava asks. “Just the usual suspects. Everyone who lives here, we invited Acerbi and Adelina over as well as Bethany.” Rebecca says. “Hold on, you invited Bethany?” Andy asks. “I hope that’s okay.” Rebecca says. “I’m fine with it but I’m not sure how Dannie will feel.” Andy says. “I didn’t even think about that.” Rebecca says. “Ooooooh, drama.” Ava says. “Its Christmas, there’s no room for any drama. Anyways, I invited Bethany because I heard she and Kaylie were having problems and I didn’t want her to spend the holiday alone.” Rebecca says. “Very thoughtful of you.” Andy says. The door opens and Bethany walks in. “Happy holidays!” Bethany exclaims. Ava turns towards her and lights up. “Aunt Bethany!” Ava exclaims. “Oh my god, Ava? Is that you?” Bethany asks. Ava runs over to Bethany and hugs her. “Its so good to see you.” Ava says. “You too! You look so grown up! And beautiful too, I might add!” Bethany says. “Aw thanks, and you look really great too!” Ava says. “Well thank you. So where’s everybody else? I’m sure its not just gonna be the four of us.” Bethany says. “Uncle Vic and King Beast were talking in the library, Adelina and Acerbi should be here soon, and Dannie is taking care of making dinner. By the way, I hope its not gonna be a problem having you and Dannie in the same room.” Andy says. Before Bethany can respond, Dannie walks in. “The food should be done in about an hour, I hope everyone’s hun-” Dannie stops when they notice Bethany. “Bethany…” Dannie mutters.
At the Stanpatos mansion, Lawrence is standing in the living room on the phone. “So by the time you arrived in Amalfi, Mia was already long gone?...I can’t say that I’m surprised, Mia clearly realizes that we are trying to track her down. What I don’t quite understand is why she hasn’t gone into hiding yet, there must be a reason she is still out in the open, but what is it? That’s a question for another time, right now I just want her found. Let me know the moment you pick back up on her trail. Good luck, Gizelle.” Lawrence says, before hanging up. Lawrence turns around and spots Dylan standing in the doorway. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt your phone call.” Dylan says. Lawrence smiles. “There’s no need to apologize! I was just trying to get in touch with Clara so I could wish her a merry Christmas.” Lawrence says. “Any luck?” Dylan wonders. “I’m afraid not. Your sister has been adamant about keeping her distance from both me and this entire family.” Lawrence says. Lysandros walks in. “I can’t really say that I blame her. Who would want to be a member of this family?” Lysandros asks. “Thankfully you and Clara never actually got married so you never got the chance to become a member of this family.” Dylan says. Lysandros smiles. “One of the few bright sides of my relationship with Clara imploding.” Lysandros says. “Merry Christmas, Mr. Masters.” Lawrence says. “Forgive my rudeness! Merry Christmas, gentlemen.” Lysandros says. “I hope you aren’t expecting me to return the sentiment.” Dylan says. “Of course not, I’d never expect that sort of class from you.” Lysandros says. Daisy walks in holding Harper. “You guys are fighting already? Its not even noon yet.” Daisy points out. “Not fighting, just friendly bickering.” Lysandros claims. Dylan walks over to Daisy. “There’s my beautiful girl!” Dylan exclaims. “Aww, thank you.” Daisy says. “You know I was talking about Harper.” Dylan says. Daisy rolls her eyes. “Relax, I was only kidding. Whatever happened to your sense of humor? Did you lose it when daddy began controlling your life?” Daisy questions. “I don’t see how I’m controlling his life. Dylan is in charge of both Stanpatos Enterprises and Masters Corp, I’m merely acting as a mentor to him.” Lawrence says. “No one said you weren’t good at keeping the strings attached to your puppets invisible.” Lysandros says. “By the way, any chance Doctor Acerbi will be dropping in? Or does she still hate your guts?” Daisy questions. “I’m afraid Olivia won’t be joining us today.” Lawrence says. “Aww, too bad. She really livened up Thanksgiving.” Daisy says. “I’m sorry to put a damper on your hopes for a chaotic holiday, but I’m hoping that Christmas is going to be quiet and tame.” Lawrence says. “Well that’s already off to a rough start.” Dylan mutters.
At the Gray mansion, Virginia is sitting on the sofa when Kaylie walks in carrying Issac. “Morning mama.” Kaylie says. “Good morning sweetheart! Just so you know, the staff has already started putting together dinner.” Virginia says. “Great…” Kaylie says. “You okay?” Virginia questions. “Yeah, I’m fine. Just not really in the Christmas spirit this year.” Kaylie says. “I know its been a pretty rough couple of weeks. Have you talked to Bethany at all?” Virginia wonders. “I saw her briefly the other day.” Kaylie reveals. “And how did that go?” Virginia asks. Kaylie sits down on the sofa next to Virginia, with Issac in her lap. “I don’t know, nothing has really changed. I’m still really upset with her over what she did.” Kaylie says. “I don’t blame you. Kissing somebody else is a pretty big deal, even if the two of you were fighting at the time. But despite that, I really do believe she loves you more than anything else in this world.” Virginia says. “I know she does, I feel the same way about her. But like I told her, sometimes love isn’t enough, especially if there’s no trust there!” Kaylie says. The doorbell rings. “Hold that thought, that’s probably Lucas and Julia.” Virginia says. Virginia stands up and heads into the foyer. Virginia opens the front door and finds Lucas and Julia standing outside. “Merry Christmas you two!” Virginia exclaims. “Merry Christmas, Mama.” Julia says, as she hugs Virginia. “Merry Christmas.” Lucas says. “Well don’t just stand out in the cold! Come on in!” Virginia urges. Lucas and Julia follow Virginia inside and the three head into the living room. “Merry Christmas, baby sister!” Julia says. “Lucas, Julia! Merry Christmas.” Kaylie says. Julia looks around. “Where’s Bethany? Is she in the other room?” Julia wonders. “I take it the two of you haven’t talked recently.” Virginia assumes. “No, not really.” Kaylie admits. “Okay, what am I missing?” Virginia wonders. “Virginia, why don’t we give these two the chance to catch up? There’s something I’d like to talk to you about anyways.” Lucas says. “Yeah, good idea. We’ll be right out in the foyer.” Virginia says. “Okay.” Kaylie says. Virginia and Lucas walk out and Julia sits on the couch next to Kaylie and Issac. “Hi Issac, Merry Christmas.” Julia says. “Merry Christmas.” Issac responds. “Wow, he knows how to say that already?” Julia asks. “I’ve been trying to teach him the whole month and he finally got it yesterday.” Kaylie says. “Just in time. So what’s going on with Bethany?” Julia wonders. “She and I are kinda separated at the moment.” Kaylie reveals. “Why? What happened?” Julia questions. “She kissed someone else.” Kaylie reveals. “What?! That two timing bitch!” Julia shouts. “Julia, please!” Kaylie urges. “I’m sorry, I’ll try to show more restraint. So what happened? Why would Bethany do something like that?” Julia questions. “While I was in the hospital, Bethany threw Dannie out of our place without talking to me about it first. When I went home and found out, I was pretty pissed off and Bethany made sure to tell me that she did it to keep our family safe, something I couldn’t be bothered to do.” Kaylie says. “She said those exact words?” Julia asks. “Mmhm. So I walked out after that, but then I went to talk to Kristina and she helped me realize that Bethany kicking Dannie out without talking to me was kinda like me moving Dannie in without talking to her. Now granted, I was still a little upset about the comment Bethany made about me not protecting our family, but I still went home to talk things out with her. When I got there though, I found her in the middle of kissing Dylan Stanpatos.” Kaylie reveals. “I don’t get it, I was under the impression Dylan and Bethany despised each other.” Julia says. “There’s a thin line between love and hate, that line becomes even more blurred while intoxicated.” Kaylie says. “Oh boy, that sounds like a recipe for disaster.” Julia says. “It was, so yeah, that’s where I’m at.” Kaylie says. “I’m sorry.” Julia says. “Not nearly as sorry as I am…” Kaylie says.
Out in the foyer, Virginia and Lucas are standing around. “So what is it you wanted to talk to me about?” Virginia questions. “You’re hosting a New Years Eve party at Slate Gray, right?” Lucas asks. “That’s right. Its gonna be the biggest party this city has ever seen! Why do you ask?” Virginia asks. “Well, I’m planning something a little special for Julia that night and I wanted to run it by you first.” Lucas says. “Color me intrigued. What do you have in store for my girl?” Virginia asks. “I’m going to ask her to marry me.” Lucas reveals!
On Brody’s boat, Lydia is looking out the window in her room when there’s a knock on the door. “Come in!” Lydia calls out. The door opens and Brody walks in. “Merry Christmas, Lydia!” Brody says. “Is it Christmas? I had no idea.” Lydia says. “Why so glum, darling? Just think, soon you’ll be back home in Fantastic, with Lucas.” Brody says. “I know, I just wish I was able to spend Christmas with him.” Lydia says. “Next year.” Brody says. “Any idea when we’ll be arriving in Fantastic?” Lydia questions. “I’m afraid it’ll still be a little while. This boat isn’t exactly the fastest on the sea. If I had to guess, I’d say we’ll make it back just in time for New Years Eve. At least you’ll be able to spend one holiday with your beloved.” Brody says. “Silver linings.” Lydia says. “But by showing up on New Years Eve, you may be crashing Lucas’ night with his new girlfriend.” Brody says. Lydia’s eyes widen. “I’m sorry, his WHAT?” Lydia asks. “Uh oh, did Mia neglect to tell you?” Brody asks. “Um, yes! Lucas having a girlfriend is news to me! How long have they been seeing each other?” Lydia questions. “Long enough for the relationship to be pretty serious. In fact, you may have some competition on your hands.” Brody tells her.
In the living room of the Goo Castle, Bethany and Dannie are face to face as Andy, Rebecca, and Ava look on. “I didn’t realize you were coming.” Dannie says. “Rebecca invited me since I obviously won’t be spending Christmas with Kaylie.” Bethany coldly says. “Can we not do this right now? Not today, today is a day about family and love. And I can tell you one thing, that woman right there wouldn’t want there to be any needless fighting at a holiday under her roof.” Andy says, pointing at Queen Goo’s portrait. “Andy is right. Bethany, I know that you and I have had our differences these past few months, but I don’t see any reason to let those differences ruin our holiday. I’m willing to put our differences aside for today if you are.” Dannie says. Bethany nods. “I’m fine with that.” Bethany says. Victor and King Beast walk in. “Merry Christm-oh good god, what the hell is she doing here?!” Victor questions, pointing at Bethany. “I invited her.” Rebecca says. “Rebecca, I understand that you and Bethany are friends, but this is a day for family.” Victor says. “Bethany is family. Growing up she was always so good to me, she was like the cool aunt, so to me she is so much more than just a family friend.” Ava says. “As the owner of the house and the person who is cooking dinner, Bethany is more than welcome to stay if she’d like.” Dannie says. “Give it a rest, Victor. It is Christmas, after all.” King Beast says. Victor sighs. “Fine. My apologies for being rude.” Victor says. Bethany smiles. “Don’t worry about it.” Bethany says. “Are we expecting anyone else?” King Beast wonders. “Adelina and Acerbi are coming by.” Andy reveals. “Lovely. The more the merrier.” King Beast says. King Beast turns towards Victor. “Any chance we can be expecting any of your offspring to be putting in an appearance, Victor?” King Beast wonders. “I’m afraid not. Julia is spending the holiday with her mother, Brady texted and said his flight got canceled, and Ciara is still off somewhere.” Victor says. “She’s still off on that work related assignment?” Rebecca asks. “I guess so. Sabrina says that Ciara did warn her it could take a few months, but still. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little worried.” Victor admits. “I just don’t know what Ciara could be doing. She left the WPA so she could spend more time with Sabrina and I can’t imagine her going back.” Rebecca says. “Maybe she got some other government job, working for the CIA or a similar organization.” Andy suggests. “I suppose its possible.” Rebecca says. “I’m sure Ciara is just fine. Back when she was with the WPA, it wasn’t unlike her to go off the grid for months at a time.” Victor recalls. “I’m sure you’re right.” Rebecca says. Acerbi and Adelina walk in. “Happy holidays, everyone!” Acerbi exclaims. “Hey there you two, so glad you could make it.” Andy says. “I’m glad you invited us!” Adelina says. Acerbi reveals a large bag she is holding. “I brought presents for the whole family! Any particular place I can put them?” Acerbi asks. “You can just put them under the tree. That’s very thoughtful of you.” Dannie says. “Its the least I could do considering you were gracious enough to invite us.” Acerbi says. “Like we told you on Thanksgiving, you’re both family. We’re delighted to have you here. Anyways, I should probably go check on the food.” Dannie says, before walking out. Acerbi notices Bethany. “Bethany, this is quite the surprise. I assumed you would be spending the holiday with your girlfriend.” Acerbi says. “I would be, if I didn’t make such a huge mistake that blew up my relationship with her.” Bethany says.
At the Stanpatos mansion, Lawrence, Dylan, Lysandros, and Daisy are still in the living room. Lawrence checks his watch. “Oh, its getting rather late. I should probably go check with the cook to see if dinner is almost ready. Please, help yourselves to the appetizers as well as the selection of alcohol.” Lawrence says. “Don’t mind if I do.” Lysandros says. Lawrence walks out. “Daisy, would you like a drink?” Lysandros asks. “I would love one. Wine please.” Daisy says. “Of course.” Lysandros says. Lysandros looks at the wine bottles. “I assume you want chardonnay, right?” Lysandros asks. “Yeah, why?” Daisy wonders. “I’m not seeing any on the shelf here. No worries, I’ll head down to the wine cellar and check there.” Lysandros says. Daisy smiles. “You’re such a prince. Thank you.” Daisy says. “You’re very welcome. Be right back.” Lysandros says, before walking out. “You two seem pretty friendly together.” Dylan notes. “Lysandros has been good to me. I assume by now you’ve heard that I am the new CEO of New Horizons Media, now known as Cutting Edge Media.” Daisy says. “I have heard that. Of course I didn’t find out about it until after the fact.” Dylan says. “I figured you’d be happy. I have finally found a job, which means I should be able to find my own place soon.” Daisy says. “Do you plan on taking Lysandros with you when you move out?” Dylan wonders. “What kind of a question is that, Dylan?” Daisy questions. “Its just that the two of you seem like you’re getting closer and closer. For instance, I couldn’t help but notice you coming home together the other night.” Dylan says. “That’s because we went out for some drinks after work.” Daisy says. “Was it business related?” Dylan asks. “Whether it was or wasn’t isn’t really any of your business. You’ve made it abundantly clear that you don’t want anything to do with me, so if I decide I want to move on with Lysandros, that’s none of your concern.” Daisy says. “Lysandros is one of your bosses, Daisy. That could turn into an HR nightmare which would not be good for me.” Dylan says. “You didn’t seem to have a problem with someone dating their employees back when I worked with you at Stanpatos Enterprises.” Daisy points out. “That was different.” Dylan claims. “Why? Because it was you I was involved with and not Lysandros? Not saying that I am involved with Lysandros.” Daisy says. “Kinda sounds like you are saying that.” Dylan says. “Are you jealous or something?” Daisy wonders. “Me? Jealous of him? That’s ridiculous.” Dylan claims. “Well you already have plenty of reason to not be on good terms with Lysandros, and I bet him getting the girl that got away from you is like rubbing salt in the wound.” Daisy says. “I’m sorry, the girl who got away? I’m the one who dumped you after you framed me for embezzling money from Stanpatos Enterprises.” Dylan reminds her. “Something I was blackmailed into doing! But you know what? I’m not going to dwell on that! I’m moving on!” Daisy says. “With him?” Dylan asks. “We’re two single adults, why not?” Daisy asks. “For starters, I’m not fond of the idea of him being around my daughter.” Dylan says. “Harper will be fine, I’ll see to it. Besides, if you’re worried about her being around bad influences, maybe try limiting her time around her grandfather.” Daisy suggests. “We’re going back to this again, huh?” Dylan asks. “Yeah, we are. You’re supposedly worried about Lysandros and yet you have no problem having Lawrence around. At least Lysandros has made an effort to change, not so sure I can say the same about Lawrence. Do you think he’s changed?” Daisy asks. “You let me worry about Lawrence. If I were you, I’d focus my attention on Lysandros.” Dylan says. Daisy smiles. “That’s exactly what I’m doing, and you hate it. I can see it in your eyes.” Daisy says. “You’re delusional.” Dylan says. “No, I don’t think so. Well this is your own fault. You had your chance with me and now you’ve lost it, now you have to live with that.” Daisy says.
At the Gray mansion, Lucas and Virginia are still in the foyer. “You’re gonna PROPOSE?!” Virginia asks. “Shhhhhh! Don’t be so loud! Julia has no idea that I’m even considering it.” Lucas says. “Okay, sorry. So what brought this on?” Virginia questions. “The other day, I was talking to my friend Kristina and she jokingly brought up the topic of marriage. Now we kinda laughed it off, but afterwards, I found myself thinking a lot about it, how much I’d like being married to Julia. So a few days ago, I started looking at engagement rings online. I actually bought a custom one online, I’m gonna pick it up before the party on New Years Eve.” Lucas says. “Wow, that is quite the step…” Virginia says. “You don’t sound very enthusiastic.” Lucas notes. “Its just…it seems kinda soon. Not only that, but it wasn’t all that long ago where you were having trouble letting go of your fiance. Now suddenly you’re gonna go and marry another woman?” Virginia asks. “I’ve got to move on somehow.” Lucas says. “Of course, but don’t think you’re gonna use marrying my daughter as a way to help yourself move on. Julia is not anyone’s distraction!” Virginia tells him. “I understand that, and believe me, I am not using Julia as a way to forget about Lydia. I never want to forget about Lydia! But the truth is, I love your daughter very much, and even though we’ve only been dating since last spring, that doesn’t change that I want to marry her. Anyways, the reason that I’m bringing this to you is because I was hoping you would give me your blessing.” Lucas says. “Oh? And what happens if I don’t?” Virginia asks. “Your opinion is important to me, Virginia. If you don’t want me marrying your daughter, I’ll hold off for now until I can prove myself to you. What happens next is entirely up to you.” Lucas says. “Wow, that’s a lot to take in…” Virginia says. “I understand. I’d also understand if you don’t have an answer for me right away.” Lucas says. “You don’t gotta worry about that, I don’t need no time to think this over.” Virginia says. “Is that right?” Lucas asks. “I think you would make a wonderful husband to my Julia. If you wanna propose to her, you’ve got my blessing.” Virginia says. Lucas smiles. “Thank you, that means the world to me.” Lucas says. “But I’m warning you right now. If you hurt her in any way, I will come for you and I will destroy you. You got that?” Virginia asks. Lucas nods. “Yes ma’am.” Lucas says. “Good! I’m glad we understand each other.” Virginia says. Someone rings the doorbell. “You expecting another guest?” Lucas wonders. “Just one. Kaylie invited one of her friends over.” Virginia says. Virginia opens the door and finds Kristina standing outside. “Kristina, hey! So nice of you to come.” Virginia says. “Its so nice of you to have me, Miss. Gray! Hi Lucas, fancy meeting you here.” Kristina says. “You two know each other, huh?” Virginia asks. “You could say that. Kristina and I have been friends for years.” Lucas says. “Oh wow. Anything there that my daughter needs to worry about?” Virginia asks. “Julia? Absolutely not. Kristina and I were involved years ago, but we’ve since realized we work better as friends.” Lucas says. “Definitely.” Kristina says. “Well I think we can probably head back into the living room now, Julia and Kaylie have had more than enough time to chat.” Virginia says.
In the living room of the Gray mansion, Julia hands Issac a gift as Kaylie looks on. “I got you something, Issac. Go on, open it.” Julia urges. Issac rips the wrapping paper off of the gift and discovers its a toy train. “Wow!” Issac exclaims. “Your mom has been telling me how much you love playing with trains so I figured it’d be the perfect present for you.” Julia says. “Thank you, Auntie Jule.” Issac says. Julia smiles. “You’re welcome.” Julia says. Issac jumps off the couch and runs to the other side of the room to play with his train. “Sorry about the whole Jule thing, we’re still working on that.” Kaylie says. “Its okay, I think its cute.” Julia says. “I’m glad to hear it, Jule.” Kaylie says. “I said its cute when he does it. If you try it, I may want to punch you in the face.” Julia says. “Careful sis, its Christmas!” Kaylie points out. “I’ll still have my fists tomorrow.” Julia tells her. Virginia, Lucas, and Kristina walk in. “Look who I found!” Virginia says. Kaylie stands up. “Kristina! Merry Christmas!” Kaylie exclaims, as she hugs Kristina. “Merry Christmas to you, too!” Kristina says. Kristina hands Kaylie a gift bag. “I got you something.” Kristina says. Kaylie digs into the bag and pulls out a leather jacket. “No way! I’ve seen this jacket at your boutique but I haven’t bought it because of how expensive it is.” Kaylie notes. “I’ve seen you eyeing it every time you’ve come by to see me. Lucky for you, I happen to know the owner pretty well.” Kristina says. Kaylie smiles. “Thank you.” Kaylie says. “You’re welcome. So where’s Bethany? How come she isn’t here?” Kristina wonders. “Uh, I think its probably best we not get into that.” Virginia says. “Without getting into the gory details, Bethany and I are having some problems still, problems besides the ones I told you about before.” Kaylie reveals. “Oh, I’m sorry.” Kristina says. “Its fine. I gotta say, being around so many great people today is really helping distract my mind. I wasn’t in much of a festive mood when the day started but that’s quickly changing, so thank you all.” Kaylie says. “Anything for you, baby. Well the food must be done by now, so how about we all head to the dining room?” Virginia asks. “I love that idea!” Lucas says. “I bet you do. Try to leave some for the rest of us, huh?” Julia says. “I’ll try but I can’t make any promises.” Lucas says. Julia laughs and kisses Lucas. Kaylie picks up Issac and then everyone follows Virginia out of the room.
On Brody’s boat, Lydia turns away from Brody. “I can’t believe Mia wouldn’t have taunted you with the info.” Brody says. “Me neither…who is she?” Lydia questions. “Lucas’ girlfriend? Her name is Julia Gray.” Brody says. “Julia Gray? I’ve never even heard of her. Is she new to town or something?” Lydia asks. “I believe she arrived in Fantastic right after you left.” Brody says. “I didn’t leave, I was kidnapped and my death was faked!” Lydia snaps. “Right, whatever. Anyways, Julia is the new District Attorney of Fantastic and she also happens to be Victor Goo’s long lost daughter.” Brody says. “Do you have any idea how long they’ve been together?” Lydia questions. “I’m not entirely positive, but I believe it had to be sometime earlier this year that they got together.” Brody says. “How do you even know about this?” Lydia wonders. “I’ve still got sources in Fantastic City.” Brody says. Lydia sighs. “This is all such a giant mistake…” Lydia says. “What is?” Brody questions. “Me going back to Fantastic! What’s the point if Lucas has moved on with someone else?!” Lydia asks. “Do you even hear yourself right now? Just because Lucas has moved on with someone else doesn’t mean he won’t want to be with you!” Brody says. “So I just go and disrupt the relationship he has with this woman?” Lydia asks. “Absolutely! I may not be the biggest fan of Lucas, but even I know the only reason he’s giving Julia the time of day is because he thinks you’re dead! The moment he finds out you are alive and well, Julia is going to become invisible to him!” Brody says. “So I’m just supposed to go and destroy this woman’s life? That would be selfish of me!” Lydia says. “Its not selfish of you when it involves reclaiming your own life! You can’t let this discourage you, Lydia! You need to return home and fight for what is rightfully yours!” Brody says. “You do have a point…” Lydia admits. “Of course I have a point!” Brody says. “Okay, I’m not going to let any of this discourage me. I am going home to Lucas and I am going to get him back. Nothing is going to stop me.” Lydia says…
At the Stanpatos mansion, Lawrence is standing in the living room on the phone. “So by the time you arrived in Amalfi, Mia was already long gone?...I can’t say that I’m surprised, Mia clearly realizes that we are trying to track her down.
