Fantastic S5 Episode 136(7/16/24)
In the kitchen of the Goo Castle, Victor, Ciara, and Brady are sitting around the table when Colin walks in. “Hey.” Colin says. “Hi. Any word on Andy?” Victor asks. “Not that I’m aware of. Ava told me to just drop her off by the front door of the hospital and that her mother would bring her home later. Where’s V.J and mom?” Colin asks. “They’re upstairs talking.” Victor says. “Still? They went upstairs before I left.” Colin notes. “A lot happened on the island. V.J fell back under your grandmother’s spell and he could’ve hurt someone. He and your mom are probably just talking through what their next step is gonna be.” Ciara says. “It’s crazy that even with Lawrence dead, this still doesn’t feel like it’s completely over. Not with Madeline’s ghost whispering kill orders into V.J’s ear!” Brady says. V.J and Serena walk in. “Hey, you guys having a family breakfast without us or something?” V.J asks. “We were just catching up. How is everything going with you two?” Victor wonders. “That’s actually what we were hoping to talk to you all about.” Serena says. “Uh oh.” Colin says. “Serena and I were talking, and we’ve decided to go back to Ireland.” V.J reveals.
At the Stanpatos mansion, Daisy is sitting on the sofa when Dylan walks in. “You’ll be happy to know that Harper is fast asleep now.” Dylan says. “I would hope so. She was pretty restless during the flight back.” Daisy notes. “Which is understandable. She’s been through a pretty nasty ordeal.” Dylan points out. “I’m just happy that it’s over. I’m sorry about Lawrence, by the way.” Daisy says. Dylan sits on the sofa next to her and smiles. “No you’re not.” Dylan says. “Are you?” Daisy wonders. Dylan shakes his head. “No. I’ll tell you what I am sorry about, I’m sorry I ever let that bastard get into my head. In one way or another, he has been in control of my life for so long, it’s strange not having him lurking around.” Dylan says. “Strange but also liberating, I’m sure.” Daisy says. Dylan smiles. “So liberating. It feels as if I can do anything.” Dylan says. “So do anything! Your life is your own again, you don’t have to listen to any of Lawrence’s suggestions.” Daisy says. “The crazy thing is, now that my memories are back and Lawrence is gone, I’m not really sure what direction I want to go in. I have a lot in my life that I need to reevaluate.” Dylan says. “Am I one of those things?” Daisy wonders. “I already told you that wasn’t going to happen. I love you, and I am going to stay with you. I was more talking about the Stanpatos empire. Before losing my memories, my interest in the family business was minimal at best. When I did lose my memories, I clung onto it as sort of an anchor to my identity…what I thought my identity was. Now that my memories are back and Lawrence is dead, I’m not sure what direction I want to go in.” Dylan admits. “Well whatever direction you choose to take your life in, I promise that I’m going to be there supporting you.” Daisy says. “I know, and that means the world to me.” Dylan says, before leaning in and kissing Daisy.
In Andy’s room at the hospital, Andy is now awake. “How long have I been out?” Andy wonders. “Too long.” Ava tells him. “It’s been a few weeks.” Rebecca admits. “The last thing I remember was being on that bridge with the two of you and Lawrence. Lawrence…he was gonna shoot Ava!” Andy realizes. “I’m okay, he didn’t shoot me.” Ava assures him. “And he won’t be shooting anyone ever again because he’s dead now.” Rebecca reveals. “He is? What happened?” Andy wonders. “It’s a long story that I’d rather not get into right now. I just want to focus on you. You gave us quite the scare, I hope you know that.” Rebecca says. “I’m sorry.” Andy says. “Don’t be sorry! If it weren’t for you, I would’ve been the one who got shot! You saved my life.” Ava says. “And in return, our daughter here saved the world.” Rebecca says. “Seriously?” Andy asks. “It’s a long story, but yeah, it’s true. I’m awesome.” Ava says. “As you can see, her ego hasn’t been inflated AT ALL.” Rebecca sarcastically says. Andy smiles. “Well she is right about one thing, she is pretty awesome. You both are. How could I not wake up when I had such a wonderful family to come back to?” Andy asks. Rebecca smiles. “I’ve missed you so much.” Rebecca says. “Don’t worry, I’m never gonna leave either of you again. I love you both.” Andy says. “We love you too.” Rebecca says, before wrapping her arms around Andy.
At the mountain cabin, Lucas peeks through the blinds. “No sign of anyone just yet.” Lucas says. “I’m sure if Mia were going to come, she wouldn’t be standing out in the open where we could see her.” Lydia says. “Assuming she comes at all. It was a long shot thinking that she would be watching the house and that she would follow Acerbi back here.” Lucas admits. “It’s a long shot at all to assume that Mia is even alive, basing it solely on the fact that she may be the person your sister was colluding with.” Lydia says. “But it’s still worth a shot. It’s…it’s the only idea I have to clear your name.” Lucas admits. Lydia smiles. “I know, and I appreciate you going through all of this trouble for me.” Lydia says. “It’s no trouble at all. Nothing I ever do for you will be a bother, trust me.” Lucas says. “Thank you for saying that. You may not keep saying that though if you have to keep coming up with ways to clear my name. If Mia doesn’t make an appearance soon, that means we’re back to square one.” Lydia notes. “I know that, but if worst comes to worst, we’ll just have to leave the country and go somewhere without an extradition treaty. I am not going to let them put you back in prison, I promise.” Lucas says, before hugging Lydia.
“I guess I sort of expected this. When you first came back, you did warn us that you were only back temporarily.” Colin notes. “Still, a part of me was hoping that everything would be just fine and I’d be able to stick around. But while I was in Siberia, I realized that I haven’t really made much progress at all since leaving. I need to really commit to my recovery, even if it takes years. I’m no good to any of you if I’m a danger to everyone, including myself.” V.J says. “And I support you every step of the way.” Serena says. “Well I’m disappointed that the two of you have to leave, but I understand. So, when can we expect you to be going?” Victor wonders. “Right now. We’ve already spoken to the pilot on the Goo jet, the plane is fueled up and ready to go.” V.J reveals. “That was sudden.” Victor notes. “I can’t afford to waste any time.” V.J says. “You do what you gotta do to get better, bro. You’ve got my support.” Brady says. “Thanks, I appreciate that.” V.J says. “You’ve got mine too. Actually, I’m gonna be leaving Fantastic myself pretty soon.” Ciara says. “Oh yeah? You going back to Paris to see Sabrina?” V.J wonders. “No. The WPA has invited me back as the director and I said yes.” Ciara says. “Wow, that’s huge! Congrats!” V.J says. “Thanks. I mean, I was pretty much done with the job when I left the last time, but I really need to do my best to fix the mess Lawrence made of the agency, especially when I helped him make that mess.” Ciara says. “You didn’t help him do anything. That son of a bitch coerced you by holding your brother’s life over your head, you had no choice but to help him!” Victor points out. “Doesn’t mean I feel any less guilty about it!” Ciara argues. “I get what you mean, having been forced to do some things that I’m not really proud of.” V.J says. “Thanks.” Ciara says. Victor stands up and turns towards V.J. “Well, I guess this is goodbye then.” Victor says. “Not goodbye, it’s see you later! I’ll be back, I promise.” V.J says. “You better be, or I may just move to Ireland just to be closer to you!” Victor says, before pulling V.J into a hug. Colin turns towards Serena. “You know, I bet Ireland is just lovely this time of year.” Colin says. “Don’t you dare! You’ve got your own life here, you’ve got Ava. You aren’t going to abandon all of that.” Serena says. “I know, but I may decide to pop in from time to time.” Colin says. “Now that I wouldn’t object to! Come here.” Serena says, before pulling Colin into a hug. V.J turns towards Serena. “You ready to go?” V.J asks. Serena smiles. “On to our next adventure.” Serena says. V.J wraps his arm around Serena and the two walk out.
At the Stanpatos mansion, Dylan and Daisy are still sitting on the sofa in the living room. “With everything that’s been going on, I haven’t had the chance to ask how you’re doing.” Dylan says. “I’m doing fine.” Daisy says. “Lysandros was your friend. In fact, if my memory serves me, you were becoming more than friends prior to his arrest.” Dylan recalls. “Yes, but that was before you and I reconciled.” Daisy points out. “You still cared for him, didn’t you?” Dylan asks. “Yeah, I did. And seeing Lawrence shoot him…it was difficult for me. He never stood a chance…” Daisy mutters. Dylan takes Daisy’s hand. “Hey, don’t ever be afraid to talk about your feelings with me, even if it means talking about a man you once had feelings for. Seeing Lysandros get shot like that had to have been difficult for you, and that’s okay. You can talk about it with me and I’ll be there for you.” Dylan says. “Thank you. Though I have to admit, it’s weird seeing you being so attentive to my feelings.” Daisy says. “You’ll probably be seeing a lot of new things about me now that I’ve got my memories back. Hopefully none of them scare you away.” Dylan says. “No. If anything, I think I’m starting to fall even more in love with you than I was before.” Daisy says. “Hm, I must be doing something right then.” Dylan says. “You are doing EVERYTHING right.” Daisy says. “Well that would be a first. I’m really glad that we’re in a good place again, and hopefully we don’t have to worry about anything else coming between us. I mean, we shouldn’t have to, right? There aren’t any secrets between us now.” Dylan says. Daisy fakes a smile and nods. “Right!” Daisy lies. Dylan leans in and hugs Daisy, as Daisy is clearly stressed…
In Andy’s room at the hospital, Acerbi is examining Andy as Rebecca and Ava look on. “How is he?” Rebecca wonders. “By the looks of things, he is going to make a full recovery.” Acerbi says. Ava smiles. “Seriously?” Ava asks. Acerbi nods. “Yes, seriously.” Acerbi says. Acerbi turns towards Andy. “You’re very lucky you woke up when you did. I was prepared to ship you off to Baltimore.” Acerbi admits. “Why do you think I woke up? I wasn’t about to let you get the last laugh.” Andy jokes. Acerbi smiles. “I’m pleased to see you haven’t lost your sense of humor. Anyways, I am going to give the three of you some time alone.” Acerbi says. “Before you go, any chance we could discuss me being discharged?” Andy wonders. “Do you not appreciate my hospitality?” Acerbi questions. “The experience has been great, five stars even! I just really want to get back home to my family.” Andy says. “Well I would like to keep you for another 24 hours to monitor your condition, and I would highly recommend you attend physical therapy after this in order to regain your full strength. However, I see no reason that you wouldn’t be able to return home as soon as tomorrow.” Acerbi says. Andy smiles. “Thank you.” Andy says. Acerbi nods. “Just be sure to get some rest so that date doesn’t get pushed back.” Acerbi says, before walking out. “Wow, that’s really good news!” Ava exclaims. “You sure? You seemed like you were kinda sick of me before everything went down. I figured you’d appreciate the break.” Andy jokes. Ava smiles. “That’s ridiculous. I missed you, Dad.” Ava says. “I missed you too, sweetheart. Or maybe I should call you Supergirl? Supergirl seems appropriate for someone who saved the world.” Andy says. “Not sure how I feel about the name. Maybe Wonder Woman?” Ava suggests. “No, Wonder Woman is me. Your dad even said as much in our wedding vows.” Rebecca says. “Aww, you remember!” Andy says. “Of course I remember! That was one of the most romantic things anyone has ever said to me. Certainly the most romantic thing you’ve ever said to me.” Rebecca says. “Well now I’m gonna have to try hard to top myself.” Andy says. “Okay, I might have to ask you two to get a room.” Ava says. “This is my room.” Andy points out. “Touche. In that case, I think I’ll give you two some time alone.” Ava says. “You don’t have to leave, Ava.” Rebecca says. “I’m not going too far, just to grab a cup of coffee.” Ava says. “Not hospital coffee, I hope.” Rebecca says. “If I can survive being kidnapped by Lawrence Stanpatos, I think I can handle a bit of hospital coffee.” Ava says. “I wouldn’t be too sure.” Rebecca says. “I’ll be back soon, so don’t get too crazy, okay?” Ava asks. Andy nods. “Yes ma’am.” Andy says. Ava walks out. “My god, she reminds me more and more of you every day.” Andy says. “Really? I think she has a lot of you in her.” Rebecca says. “The only thing she inherited from me was my skin tone. Everything else is all you.” Andy says. Rebecca sits next to Andy’s bed. “You would’ve been so proud of her in Siberia, I know I was. We have raised an extraordinary girl.” Rebecca says. “Yeah, we did.” Andy says. “I’ve really missed you, you know that? I absolutely hated having to leave you when you were in such a terrible state.” Rebecca says. “I would have rathered you trying to save our daughter then sitting vigil by my bedside, you did the right thing.” Andy says. Rebecca smiles. “Thank you.” Rebecca says. Rebecca climbs into the hospital bed and lies down next to Andy. “I’ve missed being in your arms so much.” Rebecca says. “I’m here now, sweetheart. And let me tell you that I am never going to leave you or our daughter again.” Andy says. “You’ve said that already.” Rebecca notes. “Well it bears repeating. I love you, and I never want to leave you.” Andy says. “I feel the same way. With Lawrence dead now, that happening is a lot less likely.” Rebecca says. “Yeah…so now that Lawrence is dead, what’s next for us? I don’t see any big bad villain on the horizon this time, so things are looking pretty peaceful right now.” Andy notes. “And I’m hoping they stay that way. I want to be able to focus on my family, you and Ava. I want the biggest conflict in our lives to be who left the milk out of the fridge, not whether or not one of us is going to die.” Rebecca says. “I want that too.” Andy says, before wrapping his arms around Rebecca.
At the mountain cabin, Lucas heads towards the door. “I’m gonna head down to the convenience store to pick up some supplies, I should only be gone for about thirty minutes.” Lucas says. “Alright, be careful.” Lydia says. “Same to you. I love you.” Lucas says. “I love you too.” Lydia responds. Lucas smiles at Lydia and then exits the cabin. Outside, someone watches as Lucas walks away from the cabin. Once Lucas is out of sight, the mysterious individual approaches the front door. Inside, Lydia is looking in the fridge for something when she hears the front door opening. “Did you forget your phone again?” Lydia wonders. Lydia turns around and sees Mia standing in the doorway! “Mia!” Lydia exclaims. Mia smiles. “Oh Lydia darling, I have missed you terribly!” Mia tells her. Mia then closes the door behind her. “Let’s catch up.” Mia says…
