Fantastic S5 Episode 113(5/22/24)
It’s a new day in Fantastic City. In the kitchen of the Goo Castle, King Beast pours himself a cup of coffee when Dannie walks in. “Good morning.” King Beast says. “Good morning. How are you feeling?” Dannie wonders. “I’m fine. How about yourself?” King Beast asks. “Fine.” Dannie claims. “Are you? That was quite the traumatic experience you went through yesterday.” King Beast points out. “We both went through it.” Dannie notes. “I know, but I brought what happened on myself. You were just an innocent bystander!” King Beast argues. “What happened in the past doesn’t justify what Janice and Jenna were going to do to you.” Dannie says. “And it certainly doesn’t justify what they were going to do to you. Still though, a part of me feels bad for Jenna. All this pain that has been bottled up inside her for all these years is because of me.” King Beast says. “Hopefully now that she was finally able to confront that pain, she’ll be able to find a way to move forward.” Dannie says. “That may be difficult to manage given that Jenna is likely going to prison for her crimes.” King Beast notes. “Therapy is available to prison inmates, hopefully Jenna will consider that an option.” Dannie says. “I hope so…” King Beast says. “Putting Jenna aside for a moment, I’d really like to talk to you about our relationship, and how we move forward from here.” Dannie tells him.
At the police station, Janice is handcuffed to the table in the interrogation room when Don walks in. “Donny! Thank goodness it’s you! How’s Jenna?” Janice wonders. “How do you think?! She spent the night in jail!” Don points out. “Please, you’ve gotta do something to help her! My baby girl can’t go to jail! Can’t you hire her some hot shot lawyer or something?” Janice asks. An annoyed Don sits across the table from her. “She wouldn’t even be looking at jail time if it weren’t for you!” Don states. “Huh?” Janice asks. “Oh come on! You seriously expect me to believe you weren’t the one who suggested the two of you kidnap Dannie and King Beast? This has your name written all over it!” Don shouts. “I was only trying to help!” Janice argues. “Help how?! By walking Jenna into a jail sentence? Well congratulations, you succeeded! God only knows how long she’ll end up in jail because you manipulated her pain!” Don says. “I didn’t want to hurt her, I wanted to help her! The same way I wanted to help you all those years ago with that horrible wife of yours!” Janice tells him. “Do you hear yourself right now?! All that talk about supposedly being a changed woman was just one big fat lie so you could get out of Colossal Heights! You are the same monster that you have always been, and unfortunately, I don’t think that’s ever gonna change! The only thing that’s changed is which child you’re obsessing over. Back then it was me, now it’s your daughter that no one knew even existed. Except I did know, didn’t I Ma? That baby you were pregnant with back when Harry and I were kids, the one you told me had died! That’s Jenna, isn’t it?” Don asks. Janice nods. “Why?! Why did you tell us that our little sister had died? It’s not like you and Dad weren’t well off, that you couldn’t afford another baby! So what was the real reason the two of you gave her up?!” Don questions. “BECAUSE THE BABY DIDN’T BELONG TO YOUR FATHER! The truth is…I cheated on him with another man.” Janice reveals.
In the Goo Castle living room, Ciara is sitting on the sofa when Andy walks in. “Good morning.” Ciara says. “Morning.” Andy tells her. “Where’s Rebecca? Usually I see her by now.” Ciara notes. Andy pours himself a glass of orange juice. “She’s been on and off calls all morning. I’ve been meaning to ask her what’s going on but I haven’t been able to get a word in.” Andy says. “Do you think it could be about Lawrence and the jewels?” Ciara wonders. Andy doesn’t respond. “You still don’t trust me.” Ciara assumes. “I’m sorry. I know you’re being coerced by Lawrence, but…” Andy begins to say. “But it’s difficult to turn the other cheek to the fact that I was working with him at all. I get it, believe me. You and Rebecca are much better people than I am. If somebody had done to me what I’ve been doing to you guys, I probably would’ve thrown them out, even if they were being blackmailed. But, now that you and Rebecca know the truth, I promise that I’m gonna do my best to help Lawrence as little as possible.” Ciara says. “I know, and I promise that we are going to bring Brady home safe and sound.” Andy says. “And when we do…Lawrence is a dead man.” Ciara says. Andy nervously laughs. “Okay, I think that might be pushing things a bit.” Andy says. “Is it? You aren’t a cop anymore, it’s not like you have any obligation to the law.” Ciara points out. “I have an obligation to my wife, who is a cop.” Andy notes. “Look, the only way Lawrence is gonna be stopped is if someone kills him! You know that deep down, it’s the reason you were willing to kill Joe Fish after he set off a bomb at your wedding!” Ciara recalls. “That turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes of my life. My career as a cop is over all because I was ready to kill Joe, and not only that, I’m the reason he escaped and was able to hurt even more people!” Andy notes. “I’ll make sure I’m more careful when I take care of Lawrence.” Ciara argues. Rebecca walks in. “Morning! What are you two talking about?” Rebecca wonders. “Lawrence’s demise. I’ve been fantasizing about it ever since he took Brady, can’t wait to finally make it a reality.” Ciara says. “You may have lost your chance.” Rebecca says. “What do you mean?” Andy questions. “Lawrence is gone.” Rebecca reveals!
In an undisclosed location, Dylan and Daisy are lying on a concrete floor in a dark room, both unconscious. Daisy’s eyes begin to open and she slowly sits up. Once Daisy’s eyes are open all the way, she discovers Dylan knocked out next to her. “Dylan? Oh my god!” Daisy gasps. Daisy crawls over to Dylan and begins shaking him. “Wake up! WAKE UP!” Daisy demands. Dylan opens his eyes. “What…what time is it?” Dylan questions. “Never mind that! We have way more important things to worry about!” Daisy tells him. Dylan quickly sits up and starts looking around the room. “Where are we?!” Dylan wonders. “I have no idea. The last thing I remember, we were having drinks with Lawrence.” Daisy recalls. “Son of a bitch…he drugged us!” Dylan shouts. “That explains my massive migraine. Do you have any idea where we are?” Daisy wonders. “I’m not sure. This definitely doesn’t look like the tunnels underneath the mansion.” Dylan observes. Dylan and Daisy hear someone unlocking the door. “Someone’s coming!” Daisy realizes. Dylan and Daisy jump to their feet just as Lawrence walks in. “Good, you’re awake!” Lawrence exclaims. “You bastard!” Dylan growls. Dylan goes to charge at Lawrence but Lawrence quickly draws his gun and aims it at Dylan. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you, dear boy. My trigger finger is far swifter than your punch, let me assure you.” Lawrence warns. “What the hell is going on here?!” Daisy questions. “I thought that’d be rather obvious. As you can probably tell, the two of you are no longer in the comfort of the Stanpatos mansion. No, I thought it best that I move you somewhere where you’ll be slightly more manageable.” Lawrence says. “For what reason?” Dylan questions. “You double crossed me, and I have a no tolerance policy for traitors, especially when they’re family.” Lawrence says. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Dylan claims. “Then allow me to refresh your memory. You visited Zoey Kellers in prison inquiring about the diamond necklace, you never said a word to me about that! You and I were supposed to be working together when searching for the jewels, and yet you thought it was necessary to go behind my back and try to acquire the necklace for yourself! And as if that wasn’t bad enough, you’ve been confiding in her about it, you’ve been colluding with the Goo family! Have you no sense of decency?!” Lawrence asks. “The man who is holding us captive in some dungeon has the gall to talk to me about decency?!” Dylan questions. “I never would have needed to resort to these lengths if you had remained loyal, but you couldn’t do that. You’ve been playing me from the start, haven’t you?” Lawrence asks. “I should be asking you that question. All this time you’ve been plotting to take control of Masters Corp for me, and it was all because you wanted to get into my good graces so you could control me easier! You never cared about Masters Corp or even Stanpatos Enterprises, neither of those businesses are a part of your endgame!” Dylan states. “No they are not, but that’s only because my endgame is far grander than some silly corporation.” Lawrence tells him. “Any chance you’re going to tell me what that endgame is?” Dylan wonders. “I think I’ve already said more to you than I ever should have, given that you’ve been stabbing me in the back all this time.” Lawrence says. “Right, because you’ve been SUCH a good father.” Daisy sarcastically says. “Since the moment I returned to Fantastic, I have done everything possible to give Dylan the life he deserves! This whole plan I have in the works is all about securing the future for the Stanpatos family and our descendants! While I have been thinking about Dylan, as well as his children and his grandchildren, Dylan has only ever thought of himself! When you think about it, I am the hero here, Dylan is the villain!” Lawrence claims. “Would a hero kidnap Lydia Masters and keep her from her family for two years?” Dylan asks. “That was Lysandros Masters.” Lawrence lies. “The hell it was! What about Zoey Kellers? She’s dead, and I know you’re the one who killed her! So you can cut the innocent victim act, it doesn’t really suit a man who is willing to lie, kidnap, and kill to get what he wants!” Dylan snaps. “What I want is to bring this family together and to make it stronger than it has ever been! Unfortunately that isn’t very easy to do when my son has been undermining me at every corner! Perhaps investing in you was a mistake, maybe I should have stuck with my original investment: your cousin Xavier.” Lawrence says!
In the Goo Castle kitchen, King Beast hands Dannie a cup of tea. “Here you go, just how you like it.” King Beast says. “Thank you.” Dannie tells him. “You’re welcome. So, you wanted to discuss our relationship?” King Beast asks. “The events of yesterday put a lot of things into perspective. I was terrified of losing you, Dad. There was a moment where I really did think that Janice was going to kill you, and if that had happened…if you had died thinking that I hated you…” Dannie begins to say. “Wait a minute! Never for a moment did I think that you hated me. I knew you were angry, rightfully so, but I also know that you don’t hate me.” King Beast says. “Still, I never would have forgiven myself if I had lost you when we weren’t on good terms.” Dannie says. “Oh Dannie, I hope you aren’t going to forgive me just because we went through a traumatic experience together. Like I said, you had every right to be upset with me, and I don’t expect you to forgive me just because we almost died! I want you to take the time to truly process your feelings and not rush into anything just because you feel as though you have to! As a psychiatrist, isn’t that what you would advise me if the positions were reversed?” King Beast asks. Dannie smiles. “I appreciate your professional opinion, Doctor Beast, but I’m not rushing into anything. I have thought long and hard about everything that has happened, and yes, hearing the pain you caused Jenna did take me by surprise and it did briefly have me reevaluating everything I know about you. But, the more I think about it…I know all about the man that you used to be, and I guess I shouldn’t be surprised by the things that have come out about you and Jenna’s mother.” Dannie says. “But you’ve never had to stand face to face with one of my victims before, that is what really got you.” King Beast observes. “It is, and I realize that maybe I might have let it get to me too much.” Dannie says. “Your reaction was perfectly human. I’ve done some terrible things in my past, it’s no surprise that you would be repulsed by those things.” King Beast says. “But that’s just it, those things are all in the past! You have spent the better part of the last twenty years trying to be a better man, trying to make amends with the people you’ve hurt! In my line of work, believing in second chances is mandatory, as is believing that everyone is capable of redemption if they put in the work. You’ve put in over twenty years of work, I know because I’ve been there to witness your journey. You are a wonderful man these days, Dad, I know because Mom would have never fallen in love with you if you weren’t. So, please don’t argue with me on this, but…I’d like to start over.” Dannie says. King Beast smiles. “I would like that too. Can-can I hug you?” King Beast asks. “Aww, of course you can.” Dannie says. King Beast walks over to Dannie and wraps his arms around them. “I love you.” King Beast says. “I love you too.” Dannie tells him.
“Wow…” Don mutters. “You sound surprised.” Janice observes. “I am surprised! You and Dad loved each other so much.” Don recalls. “It’s not the first time I’ve had an affair with another man. Victor Fulton and I had a pretty steamy relationship back in the day.” Janice remembers. “Please don’t get into the gory details! Wait, so is Victor Fulton Jenna’s father?” Don questions. “No, he isn’t. Victor left my life long before Jenna was conceived. Jenna’s father is irrelevant to the conversation, what is relevant is that it wasn’t your father.” Janice says. “Are you gonna tell me that Dad made you give the baby up? Because he didn’t seem like the type.” Don notes. “He wasn’t the type. Your dad found out about my affair and it caused a lot of problems. I know you were pretty young, but maybe you remember there was a lot of tension between your dad and I back then.” Janice says. “I do. I figured it had to do with the baby, but I didn’t realize it was because it wasn’t his baby.” Don notes. “Your dad found out about my affair and he was furious. But, he wanted to try and look past it, try and help raise my baby girl as his own. It…it didn’t work out that way. He never was able to get over the affair, and I could tell it was because my pregnancy was just this constant reminder to him. So, when it came close to time for me to give birth, I told him that I was gonna go and visit my mom. I left town and I ended up going into labor far away from your Dad. When I went back home…I told him the baby had died.” Janice reveals. “But she didn’t!” Don points out. “I wasn’t actually visiting with my mom. I made plans with a friend of mine and her husband. They were gonna take my baby girl off my hands and raise her as their own, and that’s what happened.” Janice recalls. “Obviously you didn’t do a proper job of vetting these people! Are you aware what Jenna’s adopted father put her through after her adopted mother died?” Don questions. “Jenna told me recently. Honestly, he seemed like a nice guy back then! I didn’t know what a monster he was! If I had, I never would’ve given Jenna to them!” Janice says. “You just would have given her to another family.” Don adds. “I had to do it, to save my marriage.” Janice says. “Yeah, right…” Don mutters. “So now what? What’s gonna happen to Jenna and I now?” Janice wonders. “You broke the terms of your release from Colossal Heights! There’s already a van on the way here to take you back. Not only that, but you’re gonna have to stand trial for what you did to Dannie and King Beast which could get you sent to Baronville instead of Colossal Heights.” Don says. “It’d be worth it if I had actually managed to help Jenna…” Janice says. “Well you didn’t help Jenna! All you did was make life harder for her! Now she’s going to most likely end up behind bars and it’s all thanks to you! I just hope she realizes what a huge mistake she made by reaching out to you. The perfect karma for you would be none of your kids ever speaking to you again.” Don says. “Donny, come on! You said you were gonna give me another chance!” Janice notes. “That was before you kidnapped two people! You were going to kill them, and you really think I’m just going to shrug my shoulders and pretend like it never happened?! No, that’s not going to happen! You know what I will pretend like never happened though? You! From this moment on, I am going to pretend as though you don’t even exist! As far as I’m concerned, my mother died when I was a little kid. This woman sitting in front of me…not even remotely the same person!” Don snaps. “Donny, don’t talk like that! I know I’ve made some mistakes, but I really do love you!” Janice tells him. “You don’t get it! I don’t want your sick and twisted version of love in my life! My son’s mother is dead because of you, Josephine nearly died because of you, and now you’ve added King Beast and Dannie to your list of victims! This world is better off with you locked in a padded room, cut off from society.” Don says. Someone knocks on the door and a guard walks in. “I’m here for the patient.” The guard says. “No, NO! You can’t let them take me back to that horrible place! I can’t go back!” Janice cries. “Get her out of my sight.” Don says. The guard walks over to Janice, uncuffs her from the desk, but then shackles her wrists and ankles together after she stands up. “Donny, please! DON’T LET THEM DO THIS TO ME! DON’T LET THEM TAKE ME AWAY!” Janice screams. Don ignores Janice’s cries for help as the guard drags Janice out of the room…
In the Goo Castle living room, Andy, Rebecca, and Ciara are sitting around the coffee table. “So I’ve been keeping a close eye on the Stanpatos jet for any unusual activity, and my source called me this morning and told me that Lawrence boarded the plane last night and left for Monte Carlo.” Rebecca reveals. Andy turns towards Ciara. “Did Lawrence mention anything to you about any kind of trip?” Andy questions. “No, nothing! I’m not even sure why Lawrence would need to go out of town! He has the necklace and you guys have the ring and bracelet, so he can’t be searching for any of the jewels.” Ciara notes. “Maybe Dylan might know. Maybe we should give him a call.” Andy suggests. “I did, he wouldn’t answer any of my calls. Neither would Daisy.” Rebecca reveals. “That last part isn’t too suspicious.” Andy points out. “I also found out that Dylan apparently decided to work from home last minute.” Rebecca reveals. “Okay, so maybe Dylan is on a work call or something and that’s why you can’t get a hold of him.” Ciara suggests. “I called the landline at the Stanpatos mansion and the butler told me that neither Dylan or Daisy were home and that Harper was with the nanny.” Rebecca tells them. Andy sighs. “So Lawrence mysteriously leaves town just as Dylan and Daisy vanish…” Andy mutters. “That can’t be a coincidence.” Ciara adds. “I think we need to go to Monte Carlo and see if we can find anything out.” Rebecca says. “Alright, when do we leave?” Ciara asks. “You can’t come with us.” Rebecca says. “Why not?!” Ciara questions. “Because Lawrence is likely keeping tabs on you and he’ll become suspicious if you head to Monte Carlo right after he did, he’ll start to think you’re double crossing him which would not be good for Brady!” Rebecca says. “Rebecca is right…” Andy notes. “Of course you’d say that, you’re her husband! You always think she’s right!” Ciara argues. “Mmhm, and that’s why our marriage works, isn’t it honey?” Rebecca asks. “Absolutely.” Andy agrees. Ciara sighs. “Okay! I guess it wouldn’t be a bad idea if I stayed behind, that way I can keep an eye on things here in Fantastic in case Lawrence does surface.” Ciara says. “I’m not sure he will, at least not out in the open. Lawrence’s actions are getting more and more reprehensible, which makes me think we’re entering the endgame. I hope the two of you are ready for the fight of your lives, because I think it’ll be starting soon.” Rebecca says.
“How was Xavier your original investment?” Dylan questions. “Before I returned to Fantastic City, I had originally planned for Xavier to play your role in my plans. Since Michael’s death, I spent the years prior to Xavier’s death looking out for him. I even played a hand in assisting him with his plot to steal Stanpatos Enterprises from you. In fact, I was the one who suggested to Xavier that he use Daisy to oust you from the company!” Lawrence admits. Dylan’s eyes widen. “So, what? You just settled for me?” Dylan asks. “This was before I found out you were my son.” Lawrence notes. “Xavier is the one that told the world that I WASN’T Michael’s son!” Dylan reminds him. “And he kept me in the dark about that! I was furious when I found out Xavier knew that you weren’t Michael’s son. Had he told me, I would have suspected sooner that you were mine. As you may recall, I tried to atone for my support of Xavier by trying to have him killed, but that eventually backfired on me. Maybe it was a bit too hasty of me to turn my back on him, I’m sure he couldn’t have been more disloyal than you’ve been.” Lawrence says. “Xavier Irons was a piece of human garbage who thought of women like possessions! Look at the way he treated Kaylie!” Daisy says. “He’s also dead, so I don’t think he would’ve been a good enough long term investment. But knowing that you were plotting with him to destroy me, it makes me feel even more justified that I’ve been plotting against you for the past several months!” Dylan snaps. “Are you sure? If you hadn’t been betraying me, you never would’ve ended up in this unfortunate predicament.” Lawrence notes. “So what are you planning to do to us? Are you going to kill us?” Daisy wonders. “I considered it. During the whole plane ride here, I’ve been contemplating how I was going to handle the two of you. Finally, I came to the conclusion that the best thing to do would be to just do nothing.” Lawrence admits. “You’re going to let us go?” Dylan asks. “Did you skip over the part where I said I would be doing nothing? Releasing you would imply doing something.” Lawrence points out. “I think what Daddy dearest means is that he’s just going to leave us in this cell to rot.” Daisy assumes. “That is very perceptive of you, my dear! Well done!” Lawrence exclaims. “Well I hope you realize that by doing so, we’re going to find a way out eventually.” Dylan says. “Oh I have no doubt that eventually the two of you would find a way out, but that takes time, time which you do not have.” Lawrence says. “What do you mean?” Daisy questions. “Once I leave this room, I am going to pretend as if neither one of you exist. I’m not going to provide you with food, or with water. Eventually, you’ll either die of hunger or you’ll die of thirst. Both scenarios will involve agonizing deaths, deaths which you both deserve.” Lawrence tells them. “Are you out of your mind? I’M YOUR SON!” Dylan screams. “I no longer have a son! No son of mine would ever disappoint me like this.” Lawrence says. “You can’t do this, we have a daughter to go home to!” Daisy points out. “I wouldn’t worry about Harper too much. You have my word that I will raise her as a proper Stanpatos. Oh, and since neither of you have asked, she is currently in the care of the nanny, at least until I’m able to return for her.” Lawrence says. “You stay the hell away from my daughter.” Dylan growls. “Or you’ll what? Locked in this room, you and Daisy are virtually harmless. You brought this on yourself, Dylan. You never would have been put in this situation had you just been loyal to your family, but you couldn’t do that. I thought you had outgrown this petty defiance when you returned with amnesia, but I suppose not. I’m just glad to have found out on my own terms, rather than finding out when you’re given a real opportunity to stab me in the back. Now I can focus my attention on Harper and Ava, two people that are actually capable of leading this family when the time comes.” Lawrence says. “Are you serious? Andy and Rebecca won’t let you anywhere near Ava!” Daisy states. “Andy and Rebecca won’t stand in my way, just as the two of you won’t where Harper is concerned. Anyways, I think that’s enough chit chat for one day, wouldn’t you agree? It was lovely knowing the two of you, and I hope you both have a peaceful transition into the afterlife.” Lawrence says, before walking out of the room and locking the door behind him. Dylan rushes to the door and begins trying to pull it open. “Lawrence! LAWRENCE! OPEN THE DAMN DOOR! LAWRENCE, YOU SON OF A BITCH! WHEN I GET OUT OF HERE, YOU’RE A DEAD MAN!” Dylan screams. Dylan turns to face Daisy. “What are we going to do?!” Daisy questions…
