Fantastic S5 Episode 02(9/19/23)
Virginia is walking through the food court of Goo Village when she gets a text from Bethany saying “Mission Accomplished!” Virginia smirks. “Thatta girl, Bethany. I knew you could do it! If only I had been there to see the smile on Kaylie’s face when she saw you.” Virginia says. Victor walks up to Virginia. “Well, that is quite the smile on your face. May I ask who put it there?” Victor asks. “Bethany. She’s back in Fantastic City and recruited me to arrange this little surprise for Kaylie. Right now the two of them are on the roof of Slate Gray enjoying a little time by the pool and having the most romantic reunion ever.” Virginia says. “I’m happy for Kaylie, though a part of me wishes Bethany had stayed wherever Brad is living these days.” Victor says. “I know you aren’t a big fan of Bethany.” Virginia notes. “That is putting it mildly. That woman caused Andy and Rebecca a lot of problems when she first arrived in Fantastic City.” Victor recalls. “The same Rebecca who is currently Bethany’s BFF? If Rebecca can get over it, then so can you!” Virginia says. “In fairness, I have been making an effort to peacefully coexist with her. The man I used to be would never dream of doing such a thing.” Victor says. “Well I’m glad to see you’re evolving. So how have you been? I haven’t seen you around much lately.” Virginia notes. “I’ve been doing fine. I actually went to visit my daughter Ciara and my granddaughter Sabrina in Paris for a few weeks, so that was nice being able to see them again.” Victor says. “How are things going with your other daughter? Our daughter?” Virginia asks. “Things are progressing nicely between Julia and I.” Victor says. “Julia tells me you’ve decided to start going to therapy.” Virginia notes. “My secret is out, is it? Yes, I have been attending therapy these last few months. Our daughter made some excellent points about my behavior so I was hoping that therapy may help correct some of those faults.” Victor says. “Is it working?” Virginia wonders. “I think so. It's also been a great help in other areas of my life too, I’m glad I decided to go.” Victor says. “I am too. Despite some of your flaws, I really think there is a good man buried underneath that hard exterior. I got to know that good man back in the day.” Virginia says. Victor smiles. “You certainly did. You know, despite the scandalous nature of our relationship, I must say that we really did have some good times together.” Victor says. “Yeah, we did...not to mention you gave me one of the most beautiful gifts in the world, a child.” Virginia says. “Yeah...you know, we could have that again.” Victor says. Virginia laughs. “I don’t know Victor, I think I’m a little too old to have a baby.” Virginia says. Victor laughs. “No, I didn’t mean a baby. I meant a relationship, one without the sneaking around and the lying! How would you like to go out to dinner with me sometime?” Victor asks!
By the pool on the roof of Slate Gray, Kaylie is lying on a lounge chair when Bethany brings her a drink. “Here you go, babe.” Bethany says. “Is that a Bethatini?” Kaylie asks. “It is. Your Mom told me I could use the bar if I needed to.” Bethany says. “Isn’t it kinda early?” Kaylie asks. “Its never too early for a Bethatini. Besides, as far as I know you don’t have any big plans today.” Bethany says. “The only thing I plan on doing today is spending time with you, making up for lost time.” Kaylie says. Bethany sits on the lounge chair next to Kaylie. “I know we have a lot of time we need to make up for...I’m sorry I was gone for so long.” Bethany says. “Beth, its okay. I know how important Brad is to you, you don’t have to apologize for anything.” Kaylie says. “Still, I’m sure you must’ve felt pretty lonely while I was gone. I know I felt lonely not being with you.” Bethany admits. Kaylie places her hand on Bethany’s knee. “We’re together now, that’s all that matters.” Kaylie says. Bethany smiles. “I’m really happy to be back with you, you have no idea.” Bethany says. Kaylie stands up and moves to sit next to Bethany on her lounge chair, putting her arm around Bethany. “I actually have a pretty good idea.” Kaylie says. “What’s even better is that we can finally just be us, you know? We don’t have to worry about any stupid drama, no Xavier, no Kitty Cat, no Stefan, just us and Issac.” Bethany says. “You paint a pretty picture.” Kaylie notes. “Pretty picture? Try beautiful picture. Its just you and me now, Kay, and it’ll be you and me for life.” Bethany says. “I love that…” Kaylie says, as she rests her head on Bethany’s shoulder. “You know, I just had a great idea.” Bethany says. “Do I even want to know?” Kaylie questions. Bethany laughs. “Its nothing bad, I promise!” Bethany assures her. Kaylie picks her head up and turns to face Bethany. “What is it?” Kaylie asks. “We should move in together.” Bethany tells her!
At the Stanpatos mansion, Lawrence is sitting in the solarium staring at his tablet when Kristina walks in. Lawrence smiles. “Good morning, Katerina!” Lawrence exclaims. “Didn’t I already tell you not to call me that?” Kristina asks, as she makes her way over to the coffee pot. “I apologize. Force of habit, I suppose. That is what I called you back when you were a guest at Doctor Acerbi’s clinic.” Lawrence recalls. Kristina turns towards Lawrence. “I wasn’t a guest, I was being held against my will.” Kristina points out. “And again, I am terribly sorry about that.” Lawrence says. “Sure you are. So where is Dylan?” Kristina wonders. “Last time I saw him, him and Daisy were going to take care of Harper.” Lawrence says. “They really are trying to make this whole co parenting thing work, huh?” Kristina asks. “It would appear so, much to my disapproval.” Lawrence says. “I get why you aren’t a big Daisy fan, but like it or not, she is Harper’s mother.” Kristina notes. “Just because she is Harper’s mother does not mean she should be allowed anywhere near her. That woman is poison and I am concerned she is going to corrupt my granddaughter.” Lawrence says. “Right, because being around you wouldn’t also corrupt her.” Kristina sarcastically says. “Absolutely not. As Harper’s grandfather, I am going to make certain that she is both raised and educated correctly, as a Stanpatos.” Lawrence says. “Exactly my point.” Kristina says. “OVER MY DEAD BODY!” Dylan can be heard yelling. “THAT CAN BE ARRANGED!” Daisy can be heard yelling. “Uh oh, that can’t be good.” Kristina says. Daisy bursts into the solarium, followed by Dylan. “You must be insane if you think for a moment I would ever let you do that to my daughter!” Dylan states. “Okay. 1, she’s our daughter, and 2, its too late because the appointment has already been made!” Daisy says. “It never occurred to you that maybe you should consult with me first?” Dylan asks. “No because I didn’t see what the big deal is! I still don’t!” Daisy tells him. “What’s all of this about?” Kristina asks. “Daisy here wants to go and get Harper’s ears pierced.” Dylan reveals. “Saying I want it suggests I’m only thinking about it, but I already made the appointment.” Daisy points out. “I am not going to let you pierce the ears of our three month old daughter!” Dylan snaps. “Will you chill out? Lots of parents get their baby’s ears pierced!” Daisy argues. “Good for them! I’m not one of those parents!” Dylan tells her. Daisy turns towards Kristina. “Kristina, help me out here!” Daisy urges. “Why me?” Kristina questions. “You’re a woman! Tell this dumb ass how cute Harper would look with little diamond earrings.” Daisy tells her. “Diamond earrings? You want our daughter to wear diamond earrings? Diamond earrings are expensive!” Dylan says. “Oh boo hoo! Don’t act like you can’t afford it!” Daisy says. “I don’t even want to get her ears pierced PERIOD! What is the point of this, Daisy?! She is a baby! Its not like she’ll be attending dinner banquets every Friday night and going bar hopping on the weekend! She does not need earrings!” Dylan yells. “May I say something?” Lawrence asks. “WHAT?!” Dylan and Daisy both ask. “I agree with my son, this idea of yours is asinine, Daisy.” Lawrence says. “If you don’t have anything helpful to add, butt out!” Daisy demands. Daisy turns towards Kristina and smiles. “Kristina, what about you? You agree with me, don’t you?” Daisy asks. “I’m not getting involved in this.” Kristina says. “That’s code for she agrees with me.” Dylan says. “Oh shut up! No it isn’t!” Daisy snaps. “What I will say about this whole thing is that the two of you are BOTH acting like children!” Kristina states.
“Victor Goo, are you asking me out on a date?” Virginia asks. “Well, I’m not so sure I would call it a date…” Victor says. “Then what would you call it?” Virginia wonders. “Dinner!” Victor tells her. “Uh huh, and what kinda dinner are we talking about?” Virginia asks. “The kind two people go to have when they want to talk and get to know one another better...you know, to get closer.” Victor says. “So a date then?” Virginia asks. Victor chuckles. “Yes, I suppose it is a date. Like I said, you and I had some really good times together but I was married at the time so we were never able to fully explore our relationship. I think it would be really nice if we could explore it now.” Victor says. “Hm…” Virginia says. “Hm what?” Victor asks. “I was just wondering to myself if its really worth the hassle.” Virginia says. “Excuse me?” Victor asks. “Oh come on, Victor! You know what I mean! You can be rude, demanding, a total jack ass!” Virginia points out. Victor shrugs. “So?” Victor asks. Virginia chuckles. “I was just messing with you, I actually like you that way. So much more interesting than some goody two shoes!” Virginia says. “So does that mean you’ll accept my proposition?” Victor questions. “Proposition? We getting married now? Lets at least go on a first date first!” Virginia jokes. Victor laughs. “That’s what I meant, my proposition for a first date. So what do you say? Would you like to give our relationship another try?” Victor asks. “We were together a long time ago Victor, we might not be the same people we were back then, we might not be as compatible.” Virginia notes. “I know that, but I’m still willing to give it a shot if you are.” Victor says. Virginia smiles. “I’d love to.” Virginia tells him.
“Move in together? Are you talking about me moving in with you at the Goo Castle or you moving in with me at my Mom’s?” Kaylie asks. “I’m talking about you, me, and Issac getting our own place! Think about it, Kay! A nice two bedroom apartment, maybe three just for the extra room, we could have a balcony that we could go and sit on at night, watch the stars and enjoy a nice drink…” Bethany says. “Bethatini, right?” Kaylie asks. “Well duh! Plus, it would just be really nice to be able to go to sleep next to you every night and wake up to your incredibly beautiful face every morning. I mean come on, that has to sound pretty amazing to you, right?” Bethany asks. “I can see my beautiful face just by looking in the mirror.” Kaylie jokes. “You know what I mean! So what do you think? Do you think it's too soon for us to be talking about living together?” Bethany asks. “We’ve been together for over a year, Beth.” Kaylie notes. “I know, but sometimes it doesn’t feel that way. Right after we got together, the Cats came to town and basically put everything on hold by suing for custody of Issac.” Bethany points out. “That doesn’t change anything. Sure we weren’t having date nights all the time like we should’ve been, but you being there for me through that whole custody fight and being framed for stealing that evidence really brought us closer together. So yeah, I’d love to move in with you, I’d love that more than anything.” Kaylie says. Bethany smiles. “Alright! It's settled then! Lets start looking for apartments!” Bethany exclaims. Bethany pulls out her phone but Kaylie takes it away from her. “We can do that...right after we enjoy this beautiful romantic day you’ve put together for us.” Kaylie says. Bethany smiles. “When you put it like that, apartment hunting can wait.” Bethany says. Kaylie leans in and begins kissing Bethany, before the two fall back onto the lounge chair.
Dylan, Daisy, Kristina, and Lawrence are still in the Stanpatos Solarium. “I don’t think it is very childish of my son to not want to get Harper’s ears pierced.” Lawrence says. “It isn’t his point that’s childish, its the way he is arguing it! The same goes for Daisy! Instead of sniping at each other over this, you should be trying to have a civilized discussion so you can reach some sort of an agreement!” Kristina says. “There was never a chance to talk because Daisy went ahead and made this appointment without even consulting with me!” Dylan says. “I did that because I knew you were going to flip out!” Daisy tells him. “That right there should’ve been enough to cause you to think about this for a moment, but per usual, you don’t think!” Dylan states. “Oh that is RICH coming from you!” Daisy yells. “See? This right here is exactly what I am talking about! How are you two going to ever be able to co-parent Harper if you are going to start arguing every time you have a difference of opinion? It's not good for Harper, and it's not good for you either! Either of you!” Kristina says. Dylan sighs. “You’re right. Daisy, I think we should try to have a rational discussion about this.” Dylan says. “Yeah...I guess that probably wouldn’t be a bad idea. Maybe it wasn’t the best idea for me to go and make this appointment without talking to you first…” Daisy says. “And maybe I shouldn’t have resorted to yelling at you when I first found out, I should’ve addressed my concerns in a more civilized manner and for that I’m sorry.” Dylan says. “If I’m being totally honest, getting Harper’s ears pierced would be kind of pointless. She’s only three months old so it's not like she would be wearing earrings to go out on dates or anything.” Daisy says. “Does that mean you’ll cancel the appointment?” Dylan asks. “For now, but we are going to revisit this conversation when she turns one.” Daisy says. Dylan smiles. “Duly noted.” Dylan says. “Well if you’ll all excuse me, it looks like I have a phone call to go make. Oh, and Dylan, remember, you’re on diaper duty next time.” Daisy says. “How could I forget?” Dylan asks. “Just making sure you don’t pull that card when the time comes.” Daisy says, before walking out. “Lovely work, Kristina! Being able to broker peace between Dylan and Daisy is no small feat.” Lawrence notes. “You’re telling me. I can’t believe that actually worked.” Kristina says. “If you had tried that six months ago it probably wouldn’t have, but Harper being here now changes things significantly.” Dylan says. Kristina smiles. “I know.” Kristina says. “Speaking of Harper, I think I am going to go poke my head into her room and say hello. Excuse me.” Lawrence says, before walking out. “Thank you for being the voice of reason.” Dylan tells her. “Don’t mention it.” Kristina says. “Off the record though, can you at least tell me that you agreed with me?” Dylan asks. “Nice try.” Kristina says. Dylan shrugs. “I figured it was worth a shot.” Dylan says. “So, what are you up to today?” Kristina asks. “Well as Daisy pointed out, I’m on diaper duty so I guess I will try to juggle working from home and being a stay at home Dad today. I’m also doing a little personal research in whatever spare time I have.” Dylan says. “What kind of personal research?” Kristina asks. “Do you remember in the Arctic how I told you that I wanted to get my memories back?” Dylan asks. “I do. Have you figured out a way to do that?” Kristina says. “I think I might have someone in mind who can help me.” Dylan says. “Who?” Kristina questions. “The person who stripped them from me in the first place: Doctor Andropov.” Dylan reveals!
