Fantastic S5 Episode 08(10/3/23)
In the Goo Village food court, Bethany is walking through on the phone. “So I’m stopping by Slate Gray to pick up some din din, I was calling to find out if maybe you wanted anything? I know you said you’re gonna be working a late shift tonight so I figured I’d drop something off for you, maybe we could even eat together?...Perfect! Yeah, I’m in Goo Village now so I should have the food in about 20 minutes and I should be to you like 10 minutes after that. You getting your usual?...alright, see you-” Before Bethany can finish, Lysandros walks up to her. “Oh hell no…” Bethany says. Lysandros smiles. “Hello Bethany, long time no see.” Lysandros says. “Hey Kay, dinner might take a bit longer than I thought. I just bumped into Satan and I might have to pick up a crucifix or garlic or something to get rid of him...right, no possession jokes, sorry. But I’ve really gotta take care of this...no, don’t worry, I’m fine. See you soon. Bye.” Bethany says, before hanging up. “I see you’ve wasted no time moving on from Alexios in the wake of his death. Oh that’s right, you two were already broken up when he was killed. You dumped him right after you screwed him over and stole his family company from him.” Lysandros says. “For your information, Alexios and I remarried before he passed.” Bethany says. “How sweet, or at least it would be if you didn’t just do it to secure Alexios’ shares in Stanpatos Enterprises.” Lysandros says. “What the hell are you even doing here?! You do know that Rebecca is out of town so you have no reason to darken everyone’s doorsteps, right?” Bethany asks. “I heard about that. Good for Andy and Rebecca taking a well deserved vacation.” Lysandros says. “Anywhere away from you is a vacation, Lysandros.” Bethany says. “You have every right to feel that way. I did after all hold you at gunpoint a few years back, that was pretty unfortunate for you.” Lysandros says. “That’s one way of putting it. You never did answer my question, why are you back? Did someone accidentally say your name three times in front of a mirror?” Bethany asks. Lysandros smiles. “I’ve really missed your unique sense of humor.” Lysandros says. “I’m flattered, you gonna answer my question?” Bethany asks. “If you really want to know, I’m here on a family matter.” Lysandros says. “What family matter could you possibly have here in Fantastic?” Bethany questions.
At the Stanpatos mansion, Dylan is in the living room zipping up his suitcase when Kristina comes in through the patio door. “Hey, I found that creepy doll movie you were talking about the other day on Peacock, did you want to watch it tonight to get into the Halloween spirit?” Kristina asks. “I thought you didn’t want to watch it, you said it was too scary!” Dylan points out. “Yeah, but full disclosure, I’m bored and desperate for something to do.” Kristina says. Kristina notices the suitcase. “Are you going somewhere?” Kristina asks. “Yeah, I’m heading to Greece.” Dylan reveals. “Oh. I just saw you this morning and you never mentioned anything to me about going to Greece.” Kristina says. “That’s because it wasn’t something that was planned in advance. Its pretty last minute.” Dylan says. “Is everything okay?” Kristina asks. “I hope so, but I won’t know for sure until I get to Greece and do a little more investigating.” Dylan says. “Well I hope everything works out.” Kristina says. “Me too. What about you? Are you okay being left alone in the house with Lawrence and Daisy while I’m gone?” Dylan asks. “I’ll find a way to manage. Lucky for me I live out in the gatehouse so I only need to come in here for absolute emergencies, plus whenever I want to talk to you.” Kristina says. Dylan smiles. “So, how did Daisy take the news that you’re leaving?” Kristina asks. At that moment, Daisy walks in. “Leaving? Leaving where?” Daisy questions. Dylan turns towards Kristina. “I haven’t had the chance to tell her yet…” Dylan says. “Sorry.” Kristina whispers. “Where are you going, Dylan?” Daisy questions. “I’m heading to Greece on a business trip.” Dylan tells her. “I see, and just when were you planning on telling me?” Daisy wonders. “I literally just found out I was going about a half hour ago Daisy, I really haven’t had much time to text you my travel plans.” Dylan says. “Well you should’ve made time! Don’t forget we share a daughter!” Daisy points out. “I would never forget, and believe me, its killing me that I have to leave Harper. Where she’s so young I want to spend as much time with her as possible.” Dylan says. Daisy smiles. “Okay then, I have an easy solution for you. Take Harper and I with you.” Daisy suggests!
In the Stanpatos Solarium, Lawrence is standing by the window with a drink in his hand when Acerbi walks in. Acerbi notices Lawrence is distracted so she clears her throat. Lawrence turns to face her and smiles. “Olivia! You’re back!” Lawrence exclaims. “I am. I went home briefly to pack a small bag, just essentials really, and then I came right back here. I wanted to see you one last time before I left.” Acerbi says. “I appreciate that you were thinking of me.” Lawrence says. “When I’m not at work there is very little times where I’m not thinking of you. I hope you realize just how much you have come to mean to me over the past year.” Acerbi says. “Probably just as much as you have come to mean to me.” Lawrence says, as he caresses Acerbi’s cheek. “I know that our relationship began as an ordinary fling, but it has truly evolved into something special...arguably the only meaningful relationship I have had in my life besides Wishbone.” Acerbi says. “Well I hope to God I treat you better than he did.” Lawrence says. “Much better, and I am so grateful for that. You have shown me what true love is, and that means so very much to me. Thank you, Lawrence, truly.” Acerbi says. “You’re welcome...Olivia, if I didn’t know any better, I would say it sounds like you’re saying goodbye.” Lawrence says. “Maybe because that’s exactly what I’m doing.” Acerbi tells him.
Bethany and Lysandros are still in Goo Village. “Lets go down your list of living family, shall we?” Bethany asks. “Do we really have to? I have places I need to be…” Lysandros says. “First there is Rebecca, your sister from your mother’s side, but we’ve already established that she is out of town, lucky her. Then we’ve got your niece Serena, but she can’t stand you after you kidnapped her son when he was an infant, shot her boyfriend, and tried to kill her and a bunch of other people she loves. Plus, she’s not even in Fantastic City right now! She’s off trying to do her best Taylor Swift impression on stage somewhere! Then there are her boys, but I don’t think you really give a damn about them other than the time you kidnapped one and the time you shot and paralyzed the other, who happens to be my nephew by the way, you scum bucket!” Bethany says. “Yeah, would you please let Brad know that I’m sorry about that?” Lysandros asks. “No! Screw you!” Bethany says. “Alright then…” Lysandros says. “Now where was I?” Bethany asks. “I think you were just leaving.” Lysandros claims. “Right, your family! There’s your niece Ava, but she’s off with Rebecca. Your sister in law Madeline who hates you more than anyone and also happens to be one scary bitch.” Bethany says. “I’m scarier.” Lysandros says. “Yeah, sure Jan. And last but not least, there’s Acerbi’s daughter. What was her name again? Was it Adele?” Bethany asks. “Adelina.” Lysandros corrects her. “Whatever! No clue where she is these days, but last I checked she isn’t in Fantastic. Maybe you’re here to see Acerbi about her? Or maybe you aren’t even here about an actual person! Maybe you’re here for Masters Corp, maybe you want to steal the company from Lucas!” Bethany suggests. “All that time wasted going down my family tree for you to draw the conclusion that I’m not even here for an actual person.” Lysandros says. “Am I warm?” Bethany asks. “You’re not getting an answer so I don’t even know why you’re wasting your time.” Lysandros says. “Oh come on! What’s the big secret?” Bethany asks. “There is no big secret, its just none of your business. Don’t you have someone waiting for you? I believe I heard you say you were gonna pick up dinner for them?” Lysandros asks. “Right. Well whatever this family thing is that brought you back to town, I hope its quick. I can count on probably one hand how many people in this city have missed you and even that is pushing it. Have an awful night.” Bethany says, before walking away. Lysandros smirks. “Man I have missed it here…” Lysandros mutters.
“I can’t take you and Harper!” Dylan says. “Why not?” Daisy asks. “Because its a business trip! I’d hardly even be able to spend any time with Harper!” Dylan says. “So Harper would stay with me in the hotel room and you could drop in to visit whenever you have a moment to yourself.” Daisy says. “I’m not really going to have too many moments to myself, Daisy. This is an emergency business matter, I’m probably going to spend my whole trip focused on it and then when its finished I’ll be on a flight back home. Honestly, I can’t even say for sure if I’ll be there for a full 24 hours. Worst case scenario, I could be gone for a few days, even a few weeks.” Dylan says. “Huh, I see…” Daisy says. “What is it?” Dylan asks. “Nothing.” Daisy says. “I know that look in your eye, its never nothing when you have that look.” Dylan says. “I was just wondering if this sudden business trip has anything to do with that charming man who dropped by to see you earlier.” Daisy says. “What charming man?” Kristina asks. “Someone I’m looking to make a business deal with, and yes, this trip is related.” Dylan admits. Kristina’s phone begins to ring. “Oh, I’ve got to take this, its work related.” Kristina says, before stepping outside. “So I’m curious, what business could you and Lysandros Masters possibly have together?” Daisy questions. “If you’re wondering if its legal, it 100% is. But, its also a pretty sensitive matter, so I don’t think its a good idea to spill any details, at least not until I come back.” Dylan says. “Okay, fair enough.” Daisy says. “So that’s it then? You’re dropping it?” Dylan asks. “At least until you get back.” Daisy says. Kristina walks back in. “Hey, what did I miss?” Kristina asks. “I think I actually got Daisy’s permission to leave.” Dylan jokes. “Imagine that.” Kristina says. “Anyways, I’m gonna go let Lawrence know that I’m leaving and say goodbye to Harper. If I don’t see either of you before then, I will see you when I get back.” Dylan says. Kristina smiles. “K, have fun!” Kristina tells him. “I’ll try, not that I think it’ll do any good.” Dylan says, before walking out. Daisy turns to face Kristina. “So, it sounds like besides Lawrence, you and I are going to have the entire house to ourselves. What should we do? Movie night? Slumber party? Mani-pedis?” Daisy asks. “I think I’ll just stick to the gatehouse, thanks.” Kristina says, before walking out. “Thank God…” Daisy mutters.
“Why on earth would you be saying goodbye? You’re coming home!” Lawrence notes. “There is no telling how things with Madeline may play out. I understand that by going to see her, there is a significant threat to my life.” Acerbi says. “I hope you also understand that the threat to her life is just as significant.” Lawrence notes. “Oh believe me, I have no intention of going down without a fight. However, if the worst case scenario were to come to pass...I just wanted you to know exactly how much you mean to me. I...I think I love you.” Acerbi says. Lawrence smiles. “I think I love you too, and despite how dangerous Madeline is, I know that you are going to return home just fine, and you are going to bring your daughter with you. Trust me Olivia, happier times are right ahead.” Lawrence says. Acerbi smiles. “Thank you for saying that. I would love nothing more than to be reunited with my Adelina.” Acerbi says. “You will be, soon enough.” Lawrence says. Dylan walks in. “Oh hey, you’re already here!” Dylan says. “I came to bid your father one last goodbye.” Acerbi says. “One last goodbye? You aren’t dying.” Dylan says. “No, but she does think death is a distinct possibility by going to confront Madeline. Promise me you will make sure that does not happen.” Lawrence says. “I appreciate the sentiment, but I do not need anyone to protect me Lawrence. I am more than capable of handling myself.” Acerbi says. “I know, but having the additional help wouldn’t hurt!” Lawrence says. Acerbi’s phone goes off. “I just got a text from Lysandros, he’s at the airfield now.” Acerbi says. “I guess we better get going then. You want to drive with me? Save on gas money?” Dylan asks. “I suppose I can’t turn down such an enticing offer.” Acerbi says. “Alright, time to go then. The next time we see you Lawrence, we’re going to have Adelina with us.” Dylan says. “Most definitely. No matter how this situation plays out, I am going to make sure my daughter returns home safe.” Acerbi says. “I wish you both luck then, and please, be careful.” Lawrence urges. “We will. Come on.” Dylan says. Acerbi smiles at Lawrence one last time before she and Dylan walk out. Once they are gone, Lawrence pulls out his phone and makes a call. “Its me, I need you to fuel the jet. My family is going to be out of town for a few days which means now is the perfect time for me to check in on my little project on Stanpatos Isle.” Lawrence says...
