FANTASTIC POLICE DEPARTMENT
*Ciara and Sabrina finish hugging. "I didn't know you were coming home!" Ciara says. "That's why they call it a surprise. Pari que vous ne vous attendiez pas a me voir." Sabrina says. "Um, three questions. 1, what did you say? 2, what language is that? And 3, when did you learn to speak it?" Ciara asks. "Un, it means bet you didn't expect to see me. Deux, its French. And trois, I learned to speak it while I was living in Paris. I'm actually pretty fluent, which is impressive, considering I've only been there a few years." Sabrina says. "I'm impressed. Learning an entire language cant be too easy." Ciara says. "Eh, it wasn't too much of a challenge, especially for someone as sophisticated as me. I'm a fast learner." Sabrina says. "I know you are. So, what brings you back to Fantastic City?" Ciara asks. "Work. I just graduated law school, and I thought to myself, what city has more criminals than Fantastic City? Crime infested cities like this one are a lawyer's best friend." Sabrina says. "That's very true. But, you do realize that by becoming a lawyer who specializes in criminal defense, you and I are now on opposite sides, right?" Ciara asks. "I doubt I'll be representing any of the criminals you bust, Mom. You are a WPA agent, don't you only arrest super villains and terrorists, and then ship them off to some secret prison and then tell the public they died?" Sabrina asks. "Where would you get a crazy idea like that?" Ciara asks. "I read a lot of spy novels." Sabrina says. "Don't believe everything you read, honey." Ciara says. "I'll take that to heart, as long as you promise to never call me "honey" again." Sabrina says. "Look at you, you are SO much like your grandpa Victor." Ciara says. "Does that mean I'm balding already?" Sabrina asks. Ciara laughs. "I meant personality wise. You know, he is going to be so proud when he hears that you've graduated law school." Ciara says. "I'm actually planning to go see him when I leave here." Sabrina says. "Does he know you are back?" Ciara asks. "I told you, I wanted it to be a surprise. For you, and for everybody else, including Grandpa." Sabrina says. "Well, before you go running off to see Victor, I would like to spend some time with you." Ciara says. "That's fine. I have plenty of time to kill anyway, more than enough time to catch up with you." Sabrina says.

FANTASTIC P.D, CELL BLOCK
*Gretta is sitting on her cot, when the guard enters the cell block. "I take it that its time for my transfer." Gretta says. "Soon, but not yet. You have another visitor." The guard says. "My brother already came to see me, and he and I didn't exactly leave off on good terms. Who else could it be?" Gretta asks. Andre enters the cell block. "How quickly you forget about your best friend in the whole wide world." Andre says. "Oh boy." Gretta says. Andre hands the guard a wad of cash. "Take a hike." Andre says. "Sure thing." The guard says, before exiting the cell block. "Why did you send the guard away? What are you going to do to me?" Gretta asks. "Why would I do anything to you?" Andre asks. "Maybe because you are afraid of what I might tell the police. You helped me by giving me a drug to use on Josephine, and then you arranged to have me flown out of the country. You must be worried that I am going to rat you out. After all, if I were to give the police the great Andre Stanpatos, they might just give me immunity." Gretta says. "We both know you aren't going to say a word to the police about my involvement in your shenanigans." Andre says. "And how do "we" know that?" Gretta asks. "Because you, my dear, are an opportunist. You'd much rather have me as an ally rather than an enemy." Andre notes. "Are you suggesting you still want to be my ally?" Gretta asks. Andre smiles. "I was very displeased when you chose to ditch the flight I arranged for you in favor of drugging Josephine Acerbi. It was just so incredibly rude." Andre says. "You were the one who gave me the syringe and encouraged me to go after Josephine to make a point to Don!" Gretta argues. "Yes, but I didn't encourage you to get caught! That wasn't part of the plan!" Andre says. "Well, duh! Do you think I wanted to get caught?" Gretta asks. "Well...you haven't proved to be the brightest bulb in the box." Andre says. "And you have? You were the one who told me I should kill Josephine, and look where that got me!" Gretta yells. "Keep your voice down! And for the record, I merely gave you a suggestion. I wasn't the one who botched it." Andre says. "I am this close to reaching through those bars, and wringing that neck of yours!" Gretta yells. "Calm down." Andre warns. "I AM CALM!" Gretta screams. Andre laughs. "Oh, stop it! Enough laughing! How are you going to get me out of here?" Gretta asks!

KING BEAST PLAZA, COMMON AREA
*Adelina is walking through, when she bumps into Acerbi. "Adelina, thank god you are alright! I have been attempting to contact you for days!" Acerbi says. "To be completely honest with you, I've been ignoring your phone calls." Adelina says. "You are still upset that I lied about your paternity. I know that I probably should have told you the truth, but, I really was acting in your best interest." Acerbi says. "I know that now, and I'm sorry I haven't returned any of your calls. Its just that I have had a lot to think about." Adelina says. "I can only imagine." Acerbi says. "I just want you to know that I do forgive you for keeping the truth from me. You were only trying to protect me from a woman that has proven multiple times that she is a threat." Adelina says. "I'm glad you understand." Acerbi says. Acerbi notices that Adelina has a suitcase. "Are you taking a trip somewhere?" Acerbi asks. "Um, no, actually. I'm...I'm moving." Adelina says. "Where?" Acerbi asks. "Europe." Adelina reveals!

ANDY AND REBECCA'S HOUSE
*Rebecca comes into the foyer, and hears crying. She enters the room, and finds Andy holding Ava. "That was the baby crying? I thought it was you!" Rebecca sarcastically says. "Very funny. I've been trying to get Ava to go back to sleep, but, she isn't having it." Andy says. "Did you try feeding her?" Rebecca asks. "I gave her some baby formula. She still isn't interested in sleeping." Andy says. "What about a lullaby? Have you tried singing to her?" Rebecca asks. "The thought crossed my mind, but you know I cant sing, sweetheart. I was tempted to call Serena, and have her try and sing Ava a lullaby." Andy says. Rebecca laughs. "I'm sure Serena has better things to do than to come over and sing our daughter to sleep. She has a baby of her own, remember that?" Rebecca asks. "Yeah, about that. Orpheus and Ava are around the same age, kinda. Orpheus is only a little less than a year older than Ava. Do you think they might date when they are older? They are definitely gonna grow up together." Andy says. "Our daughter is only four months old, and you are talking about who she'll be dating when she is older? How about she learns to read before she considers dating anyone?" Rebecca says. "I guess we can wait on the whole dating talk. I just want to make sure she is with a nice boy, or girl, whoever she wants to be with. But, no offense, nobody is gonna want to be with someone who cries like THIS." Andy jokes. "Here, let me see her." Rebecca says. Andy passes Ava off to Rebecca. "Hush little baby don't you cry..." Rebecca says. "Don't forget the rest of the song." Andy says. "I did forget the rest of the song." Rebecca says. "Well, it seems to be working, despite that." Andy says. Ava stops crying. "I guess I just have that magic touch." Rebecca says, as she puts Ava back in her crib. Rebecca walks over to the desk, and sits down. "So, what are you doing back so early?" Andy asks. "I figured I would work from home today." Rebecca says, as she opens her laptop. "You working on an important case?" Andy asks. "You could say that." Rebecca says. Andy looks over her shoulder. "Why are you looking at the file on Brody McKay?" Andy asks. "Because that is one case that was never closed. I intend to be the one to close it." Rebecca says!

LAKESIDE DINER
*"Hi, my name is Serena Masters, I'm applying for the singers job. If you could give me a call back at 555-8932, that would be great, thank you!" Serena says, before hanging up the phone. Alexios walks over to Serena's table. "You get a new gig?" Alexios asks. "Trying to. A new club opened up across town, and I'm hoping that I could sing there on Saturday Nights." Serena says. "Sounds fun." Alexios says. "Singing at clubs was fun, for a while, but after doing it for so long, you begin to want more." Serena says. Alexios sits across from Serena. "What do you mean?" Alexios asks. "I don't want to be singing in clubs for the rest of my life, Alexios. I have been singing since I was twelve years old, I want to be able to do more. I want my own CD, I want my own concert, I want people to recognize me for my passion. But, so far, nothing is working. I worked as a singer at The Aqua Casino for a while, and nobody really noticed me there. Then, when Acerbi renamed it The Foggy Tavern and fired me, I started posting videos on YouTube of the songs I've written, with me singing them, of course. And most of the time, I only get a few hundred views, at best." Serena says. "That doesn't sound too bad." Alexios says. "It is when you want to people to know who you are! I know it probably sounds like I'm fame hungry, but that isn't the case. Its just that after all of these years of singing, I want people to be able to recognize my voice when they turn on the radio, I want them to race each other to buy tickets to one of my concerts, but most importantly, I just want my dreams to come true." Serena says. "That kind of thing takes time. I know you see me and my business, and probably think that my family gave me the money to start it up, but that isn't
true." Alexios says. "Really?" Serena asks. "Really. Shocking, I know. Believe it or not, I was actually pretty poor, growing up. My father, or the man who I thought was my father but was actually my uncle, would come home with a lot of money, and then he would go and blow it at the race track, or in a game of poker, and we would be left with nothing. He had terrible luck, too, which made things a hundred times worse. Eventually, he didn't have any money to bet, but that didn't stop him, because the guy was addicted to gambling. So, he would go to a game of poker, and he would bet a bunch of money that he didn't have, he would lose, and then, he would end up in debt to a bunch of dangerous loan sharks. My father, my REAL father, was paying off his loans for a while, but eventually, he gave up, and my Dad growing up got killed by a loan shark he owed money to." Alexios says. "I'm...so sorry. So, how did you manage?" Serena asks. "It wasn't easy. I always had a thing for fashion. I know, it sounds kinda weird, but its true. So, eventually I started designing women's clothes, using the brand 'Alexios' Creations'. The business started out in the trunk of my car, and eventually, it evolved into what it is today, all of that, and I didn't take one dime from my family. I built the company on my own, and I am happy I did." Alexios says. "See, that's what I want to do. I want to build my name on my own. Lydia has offered to pull some strings to try and put me in front of a big record company, but that isn't how I want to make it! I want someone to notice me because of my talent, not because my sister asked them to take a look at me." Serena says. "And that is a healthy attitude to have. Don't rely on someone else to achieve your goals. The only person you can rely on for that is yourself. Believe me, you'll feel a sense of pride and achievement if you don't accept help from an outside source." Alexios says. "That's really good advice. Thank you." Serena says. "You're welcome. And for the record, if you ever decide you want to do something besides singing, the door is always open for you to sign a contract with me and become a model." Alexios says. "Seriously?" Serena asks. "Yeah! I remember when you agreed to model for the company at the New Year's Eve fashion show, you were a natural! People loved you!" Alexios says. "Thanks, but I'm gonna have to pass, at least for now." Serena says. "Okay. But, if you ever change your mind, you know my number." Alexios says. "Thank you. Lets talk about something else. What are you doing here? Are you here for a coffee or donut or something?" Serena asks. "Well, I was meeting a business colleague this morning, but the guy was running late, so he postponed an hour, so I decided to come here and grab a quick latte." Alexios says. "So much for a quick latte. You've been sitting here with me for at least ten minutes." Serena says. "I still have plenty of time to kill." Alexios says. "That's cool. So, what's this meeting about?" Serena asks. "Ah, you know, boring legal stuff. I'm meeting with my company's attorney." Alexios says. "Um, isn't Franco your company's lawyer?" Serena asks. "Well, he's part of the legal team. He works at the European Branch." Alexios says. "Oh believe me, I know. The loser dumped me because of that stupid job." Serena says. "Yeah, about that, I'm real sorry. I didn't think Franco was going to actually up and leave you for the job. I figured he would at least try and maintain a long distance relationship with you." Alexios says. "Don't apologize. Franco accepting that job and sprinting off on me just exposed him as the worthless schmuck he is. No offense. I know he's your brother, and all that." Serena says. "No offense taken. Franco and I aren't close at all. To me, he's just one of my lawyers who also happens to be my brother." Alexios says. "I still cant believe you hired Franco, after all of the things he has done in the past." Serena says. "Franco is a good lawyer, there is no denying that. And to be completely honest with you, Franco isn't the brother I am worried about right now." Alexios says. "What do you mean?" Serena asks. "I think Andre might be drifting off to the dark side again." Alexios says.

PARK
*Kaylie is still kissing Bethany, when Bethany pulls away. "What are you doing?" Bethany asks. "I'm...I'm sorry, I'm just so happy to see you. I got caught up in the moment. Its been years since I last saw you." Kaylie says. "Yeah, it has been...so, um, what are you doing in Fantastic City?" Bethany asks. "I got a job here. I recently transferred from the New York police department. Today is my first day as a detective for the Fantastic P.D." Kaylie says. "I'm glad your dream came true. I know how much you wanted to be a cop. And, on top of that, Detective Simms has a nice ring to it. So, um, does this mean you'll be staying?" Bethany asks. "That's the plan. That...isn't going to be a problem for you...is it?" Kaylie asks. "Fantastic City is public property. I don't have a say in who lives here or who doesn't." Bethany says. "True, but I don't want to stick around if it is going to be a problem for you." Kaylie says. "No, Kaylie, really, its-its fine." Bethany says. "Okay, great. So...what have you been up to for the last few years?" Kaylie asks. "Um, well, I actually just opened my own bakery a few months ago." Bethany says. "How did you afford to do that? Did you win the lottery or something?" Kaylie asks. "Um, no, someone bought it for me." Bethany says. "Oh. Do you have a rich girlfriend?" Kaylie asks. "Uh, well...not exactly. I actually have a rich...boyfriend." Bethany reveals.

REBECCA'S OFFICE
*Ciara and Sabrina let themselves in. "Are you sure Aunt Rebecca wouldn't mind if we use her office?" Sabrina asks. "No, course not. She and I are bffs." Ciara says. "I'm glad some things are still the same. Things were so much simpler when it was just you, Dad, Andy, and Rebecca." Sabrina says. Ciara smiles. "The four musketeers. We did have some fun times together, storming Stanpatos Isle to bring down Lawrence, Claudia, and Andre, finally shutting down the Acerbi clinic, breaking in to the LION compounds, those were some good times..." Ciara says. "You miss him, don't you?" Sabrina asks. "Who?" Ciara asks. "Dad." Sabrina says. Ciara smiles. "I do miss him. Sure, Dylan and I weren't together when he passed away, but, I still loved him, and he will always hold a special place in my heart. Not to mention the fact that he and I are tied together through you." Ciara says. "Not biologically." Sabrina says. "You know that doesn't matter. You are just as much mine and Dylan's daughter as Ava is Andy and Rebecca's. Blood means nothing, love means everything." Ciara says. "Thank you." Sabrina says. Sabrina checks her watch. "Oh, I've gotta go see Grandpa. So many people to see, so little time." Sabrina says. "I'll see you later, Bree." Ciara says. "Au revoir." Sabrina says. Sabrina air kisses Ciara on both cheeks. "Bye." Ciara says. Sabrina smiles, before walking out.

FANTASTIC P.D, CELL BLOCK
*"You want me to get you out of here? Even after you were just so mean to me?" Andre asks. "Don't pretend like I hurt your feelings, assuming you even have feelings." Gretta says. Andre fake pouts. "Okay, fine! I'm sorry! I shouldn't have said the things I said." Gretta says. "Apology accepted." Andre says. "Great, so does that mean you are going to get me out of here?" Gretta asks. "I don't know what you could possibly expect me to do that your excellent defense attorney couldn't." Andre says. "Gee, I don't know, maybe break me out? It isn't as if you don't have the resources!" Gretta says. "Do you remember what happened to the last prisoner who attempted to escape this very police station? He was gunned down, by your brother, no less! Now, I don't think Lucas hates you enough to put one between your eyes, but I'm sure someone would be willing to take his place and use you as a moving target. Besides, breaking you out of police custody would be illegal and I for one would never participate in any sort of criminal activity." Andre says. "I cant believe you were able to say that with a straight face!" Gretta says. "Okay, perhaps once upon a time, I was involved in some less than legitimate business ventures, however, I've changed! I have family, I have friends!" Andre says. "You'll have none of that if I decide to expose you for helping me! You'll rot in jail right next to me, and Alexios will forget ALL about you!" Gretta says. "Do you always resort to threats when you don't get your way?" Andre asks. "Its the Cambino way. Now, help me!" Gretta says. "Oh don't worry, Gretta, I am going to help you." Andre says. "You are going to break me out?" Gretta asks. "Better! I am going to get you pardoned!" Andre says. "How do you plan on pulling that off?" Gretta asks. "Do you remember last year, when Bethany was in prison, and she was magically pardoned? Well, that's because the governor is an old friend of the family's, and Alexios was able to persuade him to help. I've already spoke to him about giving you a pardon, but, unfortunately, he initially refused. Apparently, he received a lot of backlash over pardoning Bethany for no apparent reason. So, in order to help my friend the governor out, we are going to give him a reason to pardon you." Andre says. "And what's that?" Gretta asks. "You are going to go to prison, you are going to do your time, and you are going to stay out of trouble. No attempting to break out, no fights, none of that. Then, in a few short months, a prison riot will break out, and the warden will be the primary target. Which means, the warden will need saving from one of the more respectable inmates." Andre says. "Meaning me?" Gretta asks. "Exactly. Then, once you save the warden's life, the governor will be so impressed by your good behavior, you'll be pardoned,
and no one will question it! Then, you will be free to return to your old life, without the burden of felony charges hanging over your beautiful head." Andre says. "And why do we have to wait a few months for this?" Gretta asks. "If a prison riot were to start right after you were transferred to Jermaine, and you were coincidently the one who saved the warden, and then receive a pardon for it, that would be far too suspicious. That is why we need to time it perfectly, do you understand? Timing is key." Andre says. The guard reenters the cell. "Sorry, time is up. The van just got here, its time for you to go." The guard says. The guard opens the cell door, and handcuffs Gretta. "Well, it looks like this is goodbye, for now." Gretta says. Andre grins. "Don't worry. I'm sure you and I will be seeing each other again...soon." Andre says. "I certainly hope so. Goodbye, Andre." Gretta says, before being led out of the cell block by the guard. Andre smiles. "Don't worry, Gretta. I'll make sure that my plan works. After all, you are no use to me locked up. However, I feel that by getting you released, you might prove to be quite useful, someday." Andre says.

Camera Fades

JERMAINE CORRECTIONAL PRISON, CELL BLOCK
*Gretta is now in an orange jumpsuit, and is led down a long, dark hallway by two guards. They stop in front of one of the cells. One of the guards unlock the cell door, while the other one keeps an eye on Gretta. The guard opens the cell door, and Gretta is led inside. The guard slams the door shut. "Welcome to the rest of your life." One of the guards say, before they both walk away. Gretta looks around in her cell, taking in her surroundings. She then gazes out the bars. "I don't care what they say. I'm not going to be in here forever. One day, I will get out, and when I do, I am going to settle my scores with every single one of my enemies. They are going to pay for this, all of them." Gretta says to herself...

KING BEAST PLAZA, COMMON AREA
*"You're moving to Europe? Why on earth would you do a thing like that?!" Acerbi asks. "With the hospital temporarily shut down, I needed to find a new place to work, and I found the perfect place in Europe." Adelina lies. "Are you going to be working at a hospital? Or a clinic?" Acerbi asks. "Not really either. I'm going to be some sort of travelling doctor. That's why I didn't say a specific location in Europe. I'll be travelling all over Europe. Sure, its a pain in the butt, but it pays well." Adelina says. "Are you happy?" Acerbi asks. "Very much so." Adelina says. "Then that is all that matters. Yes, I will miss you terribly, but your happiness is much more important than my own. They say that that is what parenthood is all about, putting your children's needs before your own." Acerbi says. "You've done a pretty good job at that, even though we haven't always acknowledged it." Adelina says. "I don't know about that." Acerbi says. "Its true. You might've done some terrible things in your life, but no one, and I mean NO ONE, can accuse you of not loving your children. I might have found out that I was your daughter not that long ago, but I quickly learned just how important your children are to you. You showed me what it feels like to be a part of a real family." Adelina says. "My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner." Acerbi says. "You were protecting me, and even though it hurt to find out that you kept me from my siblings, I know that you didn't set out to hurt me. You wanted to prevent me from getting hurt, and for that, I am thankful." Adelina says. Adelina's phone goes off. She checks it, and sees that it is a text from Lysandros saying "The helicopter just landed. Get to the airstrip ASAP." Adelina puts her phone away. "I have to go. I need to get to the airport." Adelina says. "So soon?" Acerbi asks. "I know, but, I need to get to Europe as fast as humanly possible. I just want you to know that I am really going to miss you. I know we've had our ups and downs, but in my eyes and my heart, you will always be my Mom, and I love you for that." Adelina says. Acerbi smiles. "I love you, too." Acerbi says, before hugging Adelina. Adelina wipes away tears. "I've got to go, before I have a complete breakdown. Take care." Adelina says. "You as well, my dear." Acerbi tells her. Adelina smiles, before walking away.

AIRSTRIP
*Adelina walks towards the helicopter, and sees Lysandros standing near it. "I didn't know you were going to be here." Adelina says. "I wanted to see you off, and wish you good luck." Lysandros says. "I cant tell if you mean that or if you are just being smarmy." Adelina notes. "I mean it. I know you still don't trust me, but I want you to know that I really do have your best interest at heart, and I am trying to look out for you the best I can. We might not know each other well, but I do consider you family." Lysandros says. Adelina nods. "So, are you ready to embark on your new adventure?" Lysandros asks. "As ready as I'll ever be." Adelina says. Adelina gets in the helicopter. Lysandros stands back, as the helicopter blades begin to spin. The helicopter begins to ascend into the air. As it does so, Adelina looks out her window, and takes one final glance at Fantastic City. "Goodbye, Fantastic City, may we meet again one day." Adelina says. Back on the ground, Lysandros watches as the helicopter flies off into the distance, until it is out of sight...

ANDY AND REBECCA'S HOUSE
*"I thought you dropped this case?" Andy asks. "I never dropped it, I was just preoccupied. First, with Lysandros being shot and needing a kidney transplant, and then when Joe Fish poisoned the entire city. But, now that all of that is over, I can go back to hunting for Brody." Rebecca says. "Why do you want to find him?" Andy asks. "Because he kidnapped Silvia, and he was planning on doing god knows what with Ava after she was born. I cant just let him get away with that!" Rebecca says. "Keep in mind that you aren't unattached anymore. Running off on dangerous missions isn't an option when you have a baby, Rebecca!" Andy points out. "This isn't some ordinary mission, we are talking about the man who kidnapped Silvia, and was going to probably kidnap Ava! He needs to pay, for what he did to Silvia, and Ava, and Lysandros!" Rebecca says. "So ask Ciara to look into this for you!" Andy says. "Ciara doesn't have the same investment in this as I do." Rebecca says. "Some would call that a conflict of interest." Andy notes. "Some might also say that it makes me much more motivated to find that snake and bring him back here so that he can face justice for what he did." Rebecca says. Andy sighs. "You aren't going to change your mind, are you?" Andy asks. Rebecca flashes a smile. "You know me so well." Rebecca says. "Just be careful, and if you need my help, just ask. I'll be more than happy to give it to you." Andy says. "Thanks honey, I'll let you know how things turn out." Rebecca says. "Okay, good luck." Andy says, before walking out. Ava begins to cry. "Wait, ANDY! YOU FORGOT-" Before Rebecca can finish, she hears the front door shut. "Someone." Rebecca finishes. Rebecca looks over at Ava. "Well, I guess its just you and me." Rebecca says.

LAKESIDE DINER
*”What has your adorable, sociopath of a brother done now?” Serena asks. “Adorable?” Alexios asks. “Its called sarcasm. But seriously, what did he do?” Serena asks. “I think he might’ve had something to do with the whole Gretta Cambino mess.” Alexios says. “I know that Gretta was working with Brad’s grandfather. Was Andre somehow involved in that?” Serena asks. “I don’t know what kind of role he played in it, but I know he in this up to his neck.” Alexios says. “What proof do you have?” Serena asks. “I heard him on the phone, demanding an update on what happens at Gretta’s arraignment. He said, and I quote, that he wanted to know everything that happens inside that courtroom, to the letter.” Alexios says. “Are they friends?” Serena asks. “Far from it. They worked together a bit last year, but Andre ended up turning on her, and taking her hostage. So, it doesn’t make sense for them to be working together, unless it benefited them both somehow.” Alexios says. “Would Andre and Gretta have any kind of common goal?” Serena asks. “I-I don’t know, not that I know of. None of this makes a whole lot of sense, which is typical for anything that involves Andre.” Alexios says. “Psychotic relatives suck.” Serena says. “You’d know that from personal experience, right?” Alexios asks. Serena smiles. “Oh yeah. Lets go down the list. Kadmos, Lysandros, my mother, my father was cold hearted, but not a psycho, and then, Lydia was crazy for a while.” Serena says. “I have you beat in the psychotic relatives department. Andre, Franco, Vivian, my father, my stepmother Claudia, my Uncle Lawrence. Fortunately, most of them are dead or not in a position to hurt anyone else.” Alexios says. “I can’t say the same. Lysandros and my mother are still around.” Serena points out. “Yeah, but you love your mother, right?” Alexios asks. Serena nods. “Despite all of her faults, I do love her. Just like you love Andre, as much as you hate to admit it.” Serena says. “I want to have a relationship with Andre, he just makes it so difficult sometimes.” Alexios says. “Believe me, I know what you mean.” Serena says. “I should probably get going. I have to get down to the tennis court.” Alexios says. “Tennis court?” Serena asks. “My lawyer is a big tennis fan, so, he likes to have our meetings over a game of tennis.” Alexios says. “That sounds fun!” Serena says. “Eh, I’m not a big tennis person, but I do it to please him. Anyway, I’ve really gotta get going.” Alexios says, as he stands up. “Oh, so I don’t forget, I should probably ask you this now.” Serena says. “Sorry, I cant marry you. My heart belongs to another.” Alexios jokes. Serena laughs. “Funny. Coincidentally, this does have to do with a wedding. I want to invite you to my wedding to V.J. Bethany can come, too, if she wants.” Serena says. “When is the wedding?” Alexios asks. “Its actually tomorrow...I’m sure that it is probably too short notice for you.” Serena says. “Not a problem. I’m my own boss, so I can take a day off whenever I want, just as long as I can afford to do so. But, just to be clear, V.J doesn’t mind me coming?” Alexios asks. “No, why would he?” Serena asks. “Well, I did kinda cheat on his sister.” Alexios notes. “I’m sure V.J will be fine with it. After all, he said that he didn’t care if Clara brings Lysandros with her to the wedding.” Serena says. “Seriously? And you are okay with that?” Alexios asks. “No, but, as long as Lysandros steers clear of me, we shouldn’t have a problem.” Serena says. “For your sake, I hope you’re right. Anyway, I’ll see you at the wedding tomorrow. I’ll try not to be late.” Alexios says. Serena smiles. “Okay. See you later.” Serena says. Alexios smiles at her, before walking out.

*”You...have a boyfriend?” Kaylie asks. “Surprise.” Bethany awkwardly says. “It definitely is. I was always under the impression that you were into women.” Kaylie notes. “I had plenty of boyfriends before I was with you.” Bethany says. “Sorry, I guess I assumed that our relationship helped you discover more about yourself.” Kaylie says. “Look, our relationship was...it was nice, but, I’m interested in men.” Bethany says. “Nice? You are talking like we had a quick fling, when you and I BOTH know it was a lot more than that.” Kaylie says. “I’m sorry, that came out wrong. Listen though, I’m happy with the man I’m with now. He makes me happier than I ever could have imagined.” Bethany says. Kaylie smiles. “Well, if he makes you happy, then I’m happy for you. You know, just because our relationship is over doesn’t mean we cant be friends. Remember? We were friends for a while before we started dating.” Kaylie notes. “Do you think a friendship between us would still work, after everything that has happened?” Bethany asks. “I’m willing to give it a shot if you are. Hey, I’ve got an idea, why don’t we go and play a match of tennis? That used to be our game, remember? During Summer vacation, we would go to the neighborhood tennis court, and we would play from first thing in the morning, to night. Well, probably not FIRST thing in the morning, it did take you a while to roll out of bed.” Kaylie says. Bethany smiles. “I remember, Kay. Playing tennis with you are probably some of my best memories.” Bethany says. “So...are you in?” Kaylie asks. “Sure, why not?” Bethany says. “Great. So, do you know any good tennis courts around here? I’m still new to the city, so, I barely know anything about its attractions.” Kaylie says. “Yeah, there is one over on Arch Street.” Bethany says. “I don’t know where that is.” Kaylie says, with a laugh. Bethany smiles. “Its fine, I’ll show you. Come on.” Bethany says. She and Kaylie walk off.
